Will you help? Have you considered fostering before?

Timmy is a very sweet 4 year old (likely catworkable) greyhound that can join WAG if we can find him a foster home in the next few weeks! We don’t want him to miss his transport and we need your help! Even if you can only foster temporarily, that will help! If you are interested, please let us know! Please share with anyone you think might be available and good fit!

Every year, we need lots of help in all aspects during the Mystic Outdoor Art Festival weekend, and we've been fortunate enough to have many offer and show up year after year. This year, however, we're going to need additional help. One of our volunteers who attends both days and helps with setup, breakdown, and everything in between, has recently undergone surgery and will be at limited capacity. This means we'll need more help than normal, especially with setup and breakdown both days!

We need foster homes! We're excited to be planning for some new hounds to join WAG, but we can't do it without our wonderful community's help! We have the opportunity to welcome a couple of hounds in August, plus a couple in September; in order to do so, we need to have foster homes for them to land! As the summer winds down, wouldn't you love to work with a newly retired greyhound and help them prepare for their forever home?!

We've also been contacted about helping to rehome a couple of greyhounds (including a senior), so we're also looking to see if there is interest in fostering these dogs while we look for their perfect forever homes.

Does spending time with greyhounds in Mystic sound like the perfect day? Well, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We'll be at the Mystic Outdoor Art Festival on August 8th and 9th, and we need all hands on deck! We'll need people to help talk to visitors, walk hounds around, and love on our wonderful ambassadogs! Whether you can stay for an hour or all day, every bit helps!
