🐾🐶 Candlewick Kennels Hits the 5K! 🐶🐾

What an amazing day at the 5K Walk hosted by Team Dog Star at Trinity Health Stadium in Hartford, CT! ❤️🐾

We had such a wonderful time being part of this event, surrounded by all kinds of amazing vendors, tons of adorable dogs hitting the walking path, and some very special pups looking for their forever homes through Team Dog Star’s adoptions! 🏡🐕💕

We had our own booth set up to meet new clients, offer FREE nail trims, and add a little extra flair with some simple doggie dye! ✨🐩💅 It was so much fun meeting new faces, seeing all the pups, and being part of such a pawsome community event!

A HUGE THANK YOU to Team Dog Star for hosting such a wonderful event and bringing together dog lovers, local businesses, and pups in need of loving homes. We’re grateful to have been part of such a special day! ❤️🐾

Meet Harley, our October Daycare Member of the Month! Harley is a beautiful shepherd who absolutely stole our hearts—especially once we dressed her in a cow costume! (And yes, she wore it like a pro.) Harley is also clearly a major fan of our daycare manager, Mike—she spots him the second she arrives, and their adorable bond is seriously the sweetest part of our day. Beyond her cute connections, Harley is super friendly, gets along with every dog, and is the definition of a very good girl. We’re so happy to celebrate Harley and all the joy she brings to Candlewick! 🎃🐾

🎉🐾 AND THE WINNER IS… BAILEY! 🐾🎉

The results are in for our “Guess How Many” Milk-Bone Treats in the Jar! 🦴🥳

Congratulations to Bailey, who took home the grand prize of $50 in store credit PLUS the FULL jar of treats! 🎁🐶

And for those wondering… there were 1,080 Milk-Bone treats packed into that jar! 😲🦴

We have to say, most of the guesses were either WAY too low or WAY too high 😂 — apparently that jar had everyone second-guessing their counting skills! 🤣

A HUGE thank you to everyone who participated and joined in on the fun! We loved seeing all of your guesses and enthusiasm. ❤️🐾

Congratulations again, Bailey! Enjoy those treats! 🎉🦴🐶
