Lakeside Animal Health is a new veterinary clinic in Glasgow, KY. We are located about 5 minutes south of town on Hwy 31-E, beside the former location of Honey's BBQ. Dr. Groce grew up in Barren County and earned a Masters of Science in Biology from Western Kentucky University. He then attended Auburn University, completing a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. We are currently busy renovating o

ur building and hope to be completed in the summer of 2014. In the meantime, however, Dr. Groce is available for ambulatory calls. And keep in mind, no animal is too large, too small or too unusual. While Dr Groce has extensive experience with common animals like cows, dogs, cats, goats, sheep, pigs and horses, he loves to see all different kinds of patients. Before returning to his hometown, Dr. Groce had the opportunity to treat ranch and PBR rodeo animals in Texas and he now has buffalo, camels, zebras, elk, deer, rats, and chinchillas on his client list, an unusual skill set that inspired our clinic slogan - "if you can own it, we can doctor it."
