Today, we pause to remember a very special part of our hospital’s history.

Although many of us on our current team did not have the opportunity to know Dr. John Clifford personally, we know how much he meant to the people and pets who trusted him with their care. We continue to hear stories from longtime clients and colleagues who remember him with great fondness and gratitude, and those stories are a beautiful reminder of the lasting impact he had on our community.

For those who knew and loved him, we know that his place in this hospital’s history is about much more than being a former owner. He was a veterinarian who built relationships, cared deeply for his patients, and became an important part of many families’ lives.

We are honored to carry forward the legacy he helped build. Today, we remember him with respect, gratitude, and heartfelt sympathy for all who loved him.

His legacy lives on in the pets, families, and memories he left behind. ❤️

Gladstone Animal Clinic will be closing early for a team meeting/training session today at 4pm. We will re-open at 8am tomorrow. These meetings/training sessions are always focused on improving your pet’s care and experience at our hospital!

Due to a power outage, we are currently without electricity and phone service.

At this time, we are unable to accept any new patients until power has been restored. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this unexpected situation.

We will post an update as soon as our power and phones are back up and we are able to resume normal operations.

Our office will be closed on July 4th in observance of the holiday. We’ll resume urgent care services on July 5th from 10am to 10pm.
