Town Cats Town Cats works to ensure all cats and kittens have the chance to live a happy, healthy life.

Town Cats is a nonprofit, volunteer-based cat shelter/adoption center and feral cat advocacy 501(c)3 organization, dedicated exclusively to advocating for cat welfare. We strive to nurture, restore to health and find loving homes for as many abandoned, surrendered, orphaned stray and community cats as possible without ever resorting to euthanasia as a method of population control.

Shuri is our cat of the week again! Last week, she received zero applications, and we just can't let this sweet girl go unnoticed. This might not be the best picture, but it's one of our favorites. Shuri is currently in a foster home, and her foster caught this sweet moment of her snuggled up in her bed with her stuffed moose tucked right beside her. How cute! She brought her favorite toy to bed with her!

We just love this girl, and we really hope someone will open their heart and home to her soon. Could that someone be you?

We want to take a moment to thank our partners at Pet Food Express for helping us find homes for more cats! Having an adoption center at Pet Food Express gives our cats a safe place to be seen by the public while they wait for their forever homes. It also helps free up space in our foster homes, allowing us to bring more cats into care when they need us.

Partnerships like this make a real difference in how many cats we can help. We truly couldn’t do this work without the businesses and organizations that make space for our cats and support our mission.

Thank you, Pet Food Express, for helping us save cats and find them homes!

What happens to your cats if something happens to you?

It’s something we don’t always want to think about, but having a plan for your cats can give you peace of mind.

Our Safe Haven Program was created to help you figure out what happens to your cats if you can no longer care for them. Whether you’re planning ahead for an emergency, illness, or another change in circumstances, we can help you make a plan for their future.

Your cats depend on you. Planning ahead helps make sure they have someone looking out for them, even if you can’t.

Learn more about the Town Cats Safe Haven Program and start planning for your cats’ future at towncats.org.

CAT OF THE WEEK: SHURI!

263 days. That’s how long Shuri has been waiting for her person. She’s sweet, she makes the cutest little trill-purrs, and right now she’s getting some well-deserved love in a foster home. Her foster family adores her, but they can’t adopt her.

Shuri hasn’t had much interest from potential adopters, and after 263 days, we’d really love to see her finally find her home.

Could that home be yours? Email [email protected] to learn more about Shuri.
