cow and speed! He is the perfect versital horse! He has had colts in years past that were black, bay, buckskin, dun, and grullo! He has a superb disposition and he is truely an amazing horse. We have to wrangle the saddle horses and have them in while the stud is turned out so they don't get hurt on the fence line. Due to this we have to pull the stud out every evening so we can turn the saddle horses back out. It could be a lot of work with another stud that's not as sweet, but JHF Stacked Deck makes it a pretty easy process.

Morning check of the babies after we had been gone at the kids rodeo. All are doing well! We caught Hershey and brought her and her baby in for the day while we turned Jhf Stacked Deck out with his ladies for the day.

First photo of Bridger Schwenke getting his mare Hershey caught and taken to the corral this morning because he doesn't want her bred back because he wants to go back to riding her.
Second photo of Mark Schwenke catching our stud Nickers at the end of the day and taking him back to the corral so we can turn Hershey back out with the broodmares and turn the saddle horses back out in the pasture next to this one. (Can't have the stud on same fence with saddle horses or something could get hurt.) So now we get to do this every day for the next month. Lol Good thing they are so sweet and easy to catch out in the pasture!
I think my dad would be proud that we started breeding mares on schedule on June 1st!! We are doing things a little different this year and it's going to be a little more work, but we're getting it done!

Two new foals this morning!!! Lily had a little bay with strip on its face and Bonita had a cute little buckskin!! I didn't get so spend much time with them as I had to leave for work so not totally sure if they are c**ts or fillies. I will spend more time with them this evening to find out and get more photos and videos... but I think they are both c**ts!! They are just so dang cute!! The little buckskin was just born maybe 30 mins before Bridger Schwenke and I got out there. He had been up once but that was exhausting so he laid back down. He was trying to figure out how to get up again when he crossed his legs and stuck out his tongue! Hahaha

Last fall after my dad's passing we needed to make the broodmare band a little more manageable so we sold a couple bred mares that we have full sisters to... Who knew this beautiful little buckskin stud c**t was in the belly of Dandy when we sold her!! I am so happy for her new owners and getting a message with this photo made my heart skip a beat! So happy for them and jealous at the same time. What a cool c**t!! Now I cant wait to see what her full sister that we kept has!!
