Do you have any unseasoned meat in your freezer that you don’t want? Maybe it’s got a little frost bite on it? Been in there too long, wasn’t great the last time you cooked it so you shy away from cooking more of it? Our Totties would love to take it off your hands and help you make room in your freezer!! We feed our dogs everything from kibble to raw to home cooked, depending on their nutrition needs and tastes and spend a fortune on meat every month. Before you throw it out, consider donating it to Rotten Rottie Rescue we have lots of freezer space!

Kona was adopted today by Roberta and Tyler Scoffield!! They literally live like 2 miles from me. Kona was born in Italy and moved to the states with her parents who where in the military. They got divorced, they couldn’t keep her so they surrendered her to us. She immediately went and spent 3 weeks with Amanda at Paw Creek Training and she was quickly adopted to a couple. Her dad sadly died about 3 months later and mom decided it was too much to keep Kona without him, so she returned her and she has been back with us about two weeks now and she just got adopted again. Kona’s happy place is in the swimming so thank goodness they have a pool for her. They actually have a very lovely home. Congrats kona girl!!

There is a senior rottie hanging out in someone’s front yard near 75th Ave and McDowell. The home owner has been seeing him the neighborhood for about a week now. They decided to feed him and give him water so now he is not leaving their property, but he won’t come closer then about 5 feet from them. He is scared and lost. If he is yours please reach out so I can put you in touch with the home owner and you can bring him home. They have called MCACC but have not heard back from them. He little face makes me sad, I’m hoping there is someone out there that loves him and is looking for him!

Big news! ❤️

Poppy, our sweet little girl who we learned about last month when MCACC, our county shelter, reached out to us for help, has officially found her forever home!

Poppy was terrified in the shelter and needed professional help working through her fears… but look at her now!

Poppy has officially graduated from Dynamic Dog Training AZ and has been adopted by James and Ashley Smith! She absolutely loves her new family, her new dog brother, and even the chickens on their beautiful 8-acre property. We are SO proud of her and how far she has come.

A huge thank you to Karen Harrell, without you, we would not have even been able to consider rescuing this girl. Thank You to Sherry Flores for fostering her for a week after we pulled her from the shelter, Thank You Joanne Gershkowitz for transporting her for us, and Thank You PACC911 for your financial assistance and support.

Congratulations, James and Ashley, and thank you for opening your hearts and home to her! ❤️

Welcome to the Rotten Rottie Rescue family, Poppy

Please Note ➡️ We are not the county shelter and we do not have this dog in our possession. 💕We are sharing this in hopes of getting this pup home to their owner. 💕Any questions should be directed to the shelter he is at. He is located at Maricopa County Animal Care & Control in Phoenix, AZ.

This male Rottweiler was found on 5/12 at 3:07 PM. A Good Samaritan found him climbing out of a canal near Hazen Road & Turner Road in Glendale, AZ and brought him to the shelter.

🚨FOUND IN TAN/ BROWN HARNESS WITH "BEST FRIEND" WRITTEN ON IT, RED LEASH TETHERED🚨

Somebody is definitely missing their best friend. He is currently at MCACC West Shelter and he has been made available for adoption. If he is your boy, please go and get him right away! He is waiting for you!

His Animal ID is A5164781 and the shelter named him Holo. The age they gave him is an estimate.

These two pups are at Pima Animal care in tucson waiting for their forever homes. If you meet the qualifications they set forth, please go meet them and bring them home! they can be adopted directly from their shelter.

Meet King & Princess — two young dogs whose lives were turned upside down through no fault of their own.
Their owner asked a neighbor to watch them temporarily while he showed his home for sale… but he never came back. Calls and messages went unanswered, and these two sweet dogs were left behind.
Thankfully, their compassionate neighbor stepped up to care for them until they could safely come to PACC. We may never understand how someone could walk away from such wonderful dogs, but we do know they deserve a second chance at real forever homes.
KING – A900423
• 1-year-old male Rottweiler mix
• Approximately 82 lbs.
• Indoor-only companion dog
• Housebroken & kennel trained
• Friendly, affectionate, playful, and eager to please
King is truly a giant teddy bear. His finder describes him as incredibly loyal, gentle, and happiest right beside his person. He reportedly walks beautifully off leash, stays close, checks in constantly, and ignores barking dogs around him. He has lived peacefully around teenagers, cats, a small dog, and even parrots. He loves adventures, camping trips, car rides, early morning walks, and being part of the family.
King also has the cutest quirks — he prefers showers over hoses, loves having his teeth brushed, enjoys staying clean, and apparently his favorite toy color is purple.
At the shelter, staff noted he is energetic, loves human attention, and allowed handling during intake.
Ideal home:
Someone looking for a loyal sidekick, adventure buddy, cuddle companion, and true indoor family member.
PRINCESS – A900425
• 1-year-old female Rottweiler mix
• Approximately 80 lbs.
• Energetic, athletic, and full of personality
Princess is King’s complete opposite in the funniest way possible — bouncy, energetic, and always ready to move! Her finder says she “jumps like she’s on a trampoline,” and shelter staff described her as high-energy, affectionate with handlers, and eager for attention.
Princess would thrive with structure and an active lifestyle. She may do best as the only pet in the home or in a home experienced with managing strong, energetic dogs. She could also make an excellent companion for someone with property or a business yard where she can safely burn off energy and stay engaged.
Both dogs are young, social with people, and adjusting to shelter life after losing the only home they knew. Despite being abandoned, they remain loving, hopeful, and ready to bond deeply with someone new.
Please help us find the happy endings these two deserve.
