It’s our last night with Pierre. ❤️

It’s hard to believe that just a couple of months ago, Pierre came into my home as a foster through Freedom Frenchie Rescue. I knew my job was to love him, help him heal, and prepare him for his forever family… but no one tells you how quickly they steal your heart.

Tomorrow, Pierre begins his next chapter with his new mom and his new Frenchie sister, Peach, in Pennsylvania. My heart is a little heavy, but it’s also so full knowing he is getting the happy ending he deserves.

People often ask me how fostering works. It’s actually simple: the rescue covers the veterinary care, and you provide the love, safety, and stability while they search for the perfect forever home. Every foster home opens the door for another dog in need to be saved.

As a thank-you, foster families also receive free pet boarding through my business while they are fostering, making it even easier to help a dog in need.

The hardest part of fostering is saying goodbye. But the best part is knowing your goodbye is someone else’s “welcome home.”

If you’ve ever thought about fostering, I hope Pierre’s story inspires you to take that first step. One temporary act of kindness can change a dog’s entire life.

🇺🇸🐾 Happy Fourth of July from Miss Michelle’s Mutts! 🐾🇺🇸

While many families are out celebrating with fireworks, I’m celebrating with some of my favorite four-legged friends! ❤️

I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for trusting me with your beloved pets. It is truly a privilege to care for them, and I never take that trust for granted.

Whether your pup is spending the holiday relaxing with family or hanging out with me, I hope everyone has a safe, happy, and stress-free Fourth of July.
