Save the Cats Arizona Save The Cats Arizona provides hope and a second chance at a happy life to cats who are at risk of ha However, we do not publicize our location.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE OVER CAPACITY AT THE MOMENT AND ARE NOT ACCEPTING NEW CATS. We are a rescue and feline sanctuary committed to a no-kill philosophy. As individuals and as a collective organization, we strongly believe that cats are sentient, feeling beings deserving of our respect and kindness. While dedicated to providing a lifetime of health, safety, and happiness to cats living in our sa

nctuary, we also strive to find solutions for at-risk cats we cannot take in due to limited space. We are an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 organization, so 100% of all donations go to the cats. We provide these programs:

Long-term care in a safe and fulfilling environment to cats who are unadoptable due to behavioral or health issues

Medical care (spay/neuter, wellness, and critical care) for cats admitted into our programs

Socialization to rebuild feline trust and confidence in people, thereby increasing the chance for adoption

Assistance in urgent, at risk cat situations by providing information, resources, and referrals to other organizations with services complementary to ours

Education on pet abandonment, the importance of spaying/neutering, and creating a healthy and enriching environment for companion cats

🚨🚨🚨Volunteers & fosters needed!

We are now partnering with Petco Superstition Springs! We are seeking volunteers to care for the cats housed there while they await their forever homes. A shift typically takes 30-60 minutes and are flexible based on your schedule. Duties include:

🪏 Scooping litter boxes
🧼 Cleaning up messes
🍗 Refreshing food and water
🩺 Observing and reporting any health concerns
😺 Socializing with the cats for as long as you wish - the best part!

Lili Update: She’s doing great recovering from her VRA surgery! Her foster says:

“LiLi is doing great. She is eating watered down canned food. Also eating Churu twice a day. Her appetite is crazy! Acts like we never feed her. She acts like a normal little kitten who doesn’t know she just had surgery just days ago.”

We are so happy to have been able to provide Lili her life-saving surgery. We could still use some help covering all of her medical expenses if you are able do make a donation. Thank you for your support! 💕

A sweet 12-week-old kitten in our care "Lili" urgently needs surgery to correct a vascular ring anomaly that is impacting her ability to eat properly. The defect wraps around and squeezes her esophagus making it difficult for food to pass through to her stomach. This has caused her to develop megaesophagus and regurgitate her meals.

We met with a surgeon on Monday who told us that time is of the essence and since Lili is so young, he is optimistic that her esophagus will return to its normal size after the surgery and she will go on to live a long, healthy, happy life. The estimate for the surgery is $4155. As you can imagine, this is quite a price tag for our small nonprofit to manage.

Update: We talked to Lili’s surgeon a couple hours ago. Lili made it through surgery and is in recovery! We are all so relieved…especially her loving foster family. Lili will spend the night in the hospital under close observation and monitoring. She should be able to go home tomorrow afternoon. Way to go, Lili! And many thanks to her surgeon and staff! 🥰🙏🎉
