Finally bit the bullet and applied for my farm number! It was a process, but I went to the FSA office and they helped me get everything sorted. They also recommended I stop by the NRCS office to apply for some of their programs. They'll be sending someone out to do an assessment so we can hopefully get some assistance with our irrigation...or lack thereof. I'm excited!

FYI these produce tiny grapelike kiwi with NO fuzzy skin. Hardy kiwi (Actinidia arguta)

Everything above the fence line on the Key is already planted.

I've been working on acquiring the rest of the plants on the list.

The front yard has a dedicated herb garden and Native plant landscape. I just planted wolfberry and jojoba!

Between all the perennials and plants that reseeded themselves, this mini food forest is already off to a good start!

Most of these seeds are sprouting right up through the woodchip later without any trouble.
