Carl has had, until today, very ambiguous feelings about being hosed down.
Today was the first day that he was truly hot and sweaty after his work.
[He IS only 3. Truly hard work isn't what he needs at the moment. Just consistently being asked to be respectful and do 'stuff".]
Today I could see his little brain travel from -"water hose is SCARY" - to - "this feels....nice?" - to- "this is LOVELY!"

Just wait until the temps get truly hot little horse!🤣

Day 1 of project 'GATE' is complete!

It would have been done in about an hour, instead of the three hours it actually took me, if I had utilized a few more of my brain cells earlier on!🤣 I definitely did things 'the hard way' for awhile.

Hopefully day 2 will find us with a portal to our grass wonderland!
