Bigs and little can all co-exist now. I had to ease into it because keeping tiny Nu Nu safe is my top priority but everyone is getting along great and I can tell she’s excited to be a part of the pack now !

Everyone is keeping me very busy. It took me over an hour this morning to get them all fed separately, exercised and do potty breaks but I’m enjoying every second. I feel a lot of gratitude this morning for everything- even the stress and chaos.

I made waffles a little firework fort below my bed. I no longer have a bed frame so he can’t hide under it like he used to during prior 4ths. So now he has a little fort with his bed, his blanket, some of his toys, a shirt that smells like me and of course a little night light 💡 😍

I am typically closed for the 4th of July as my dogs absolutely hate fireworks (as most do) and it’s an extremely stressful evening not only for them but myself included. So any extra furry bodies is usually just too much for my heart to handle. But when my friends asked me to watch Salem, I weighed the pros and cons and I decided to open my doors. As you can see, Salem and my Fiona play so well together- so much so that Fiona gets utterly exhausted so I am hoping that some extra play time is going to wear her out so that she isn’t as affected by the noise. I guess time will only tell but for now, I’m just so happy to see them having fun before the chaos begins.
