Some fun-time shenanigans to close out the summer season. Boy I’m ready for some cool weather.
Great things are on the horizon here at 5D Ranch. We admittedly have had very few litters and minimal presence on Facebook this year, but that’s all about to change🥳
Life threw some punches both good and bad but to wrap it up quickly, I have been deemed breast cancer free. Behind the scenes while spending months waiting for the verdict, I never stopped pursuing my dreams to continue growing an amazing labrador program. All that hard work searching, planning, and health testing is soon to be unveiled.
Posts will become more frequent with changes and introductions of our new additions to the program. Some sneak peeks in the photos😍
Hold on to your hats, we got some great ones and feel free to share our posts as they come. We will be a strong program and a force to be reckoned with here in Central Texas.

Updated: Reese has found her new couch🥰
I originally posted Reese back in June and had many inquiries and decided on what I felt was a great fit. She stayed here at 5D because I expected her cycle soon and we decided to wait until after that for her transition. Her cycle stalled and months passed and the match fell through so this sweet soul is back on the hunt for a forever family. Reese is now 19 months and ready for her next adventure. Inquiring by DM.

Who let the dogs out🐾
The first day to get over 100 degrees. Yuck!
I don’t kennel them up much but on days like this, cool, wet concrete from the kennel misting system is a hit for all🥰

We will not have any litters this summer but we have some nice young adults up for discussion.
I wanted options, so I held back more than usual and also brought in some new lines. l knew I would have to ultimately make some tough decisions.
That being said…
Meet Reese… a sweet, wiggly butt girl. She is from a proven dynamic cross of Chase and Ohana. She is 16 months old.
She walks on a leash, knows basic commands, kennels well and did great crated a few days with the last ice storm.
She is a beautiful, deep, rich chocolate with plenty of size and bone. She does however have a bit more “American head” and longer back than I would like to add to my English lines. With her athleticism, she would do well for my hunting lines…just one problem…she lacks that natural drive. She will run and sniff the objects but thats where it ends🙄
She is best suited for a good ole family companion. If you are on the prowl for a new best friend and shadow, and want to skip the puppy phase, this is a chocolatey good one😁😁
Don’t like chocolate! Other options to look at as well.

**** Update: He has found his new 🏠
Last boy on the hunt! He is from Inola and Maverick’s spring 2026 litter. Mr. White collar is the biggest boy in the litter and he has a beautiful dark red coat.

06/02/2026

Selections on Inola’s litter was done over the weekend. The remaining 2 boys are brown and white collar. It’s hard to believe I also have 2 gorgeous black English females and a male from Neri’s litter. Red and blacks are so beautiful! Now’s the time folks! No other litters planned until the fall.

05/24/2026

Time is starting to fly by now. Inola’s babies are weaned and doing well. Neri’s girls are sweet and gentle as always and oh so BIG!🥰🥰
