Trumpet Show Dogs Home of Trumpet Keeshond We are blessed to have a large place for the dogs to achieve a fit and active lifestyle.

We are a kennel, yes, but the kennel is built as close to house-like as possible and part of my home. The seniors live on one side of the home and the other side where my office, grooming and guest quarters house the remaining residents. You know how Keesies are......they have to be part of their family.

Falling in love with something new… we had a great time at one of my favorite specialties of the year. As usual I like to mix it up so I started a new puppy, Ellie (Trumpet’s A Moment Like This) her new puppy parents were very brave and let me take her away for a week. She was shown a couple days and won her class on Sunday at the specialty, 2nd in sweeps. Isn’t she a doll. Gracie (Trumpet’s I Say A Little Prayer) was shown the other 2 days and picked up her 1st major going WB at the specialty on Saturday. I wanted to play with Billie (Ch Trumpet’s Don’t Lose My Number BCAT) in the specials ring too, so entered her the first couple of days. She was a blast to show and picked up her first GCH major going Select Bitch on Friday. Traci brought Fergie (Trumpet’s Big Girls Don’t Cry)for the weekend and she was Reserve Winners bitch at BOTH specialties 💜 Last but certainly not least .. my best girl goes Best In Specialty at the first KCDV show and Best Opposite at the 2nd one. Topping the weekend off with a Group 3! Thank you to my owners Kathi Walker Morgart, & Melissa Russell for doing all the STUFF to get them ready for the trip. And congratulations too. 🎉

I wanted to share some other recent wins with Trumpet kids being shown recently. Brenda & Bonnie have been hitting some shows in Colorado the last couple of months and Tux (Ch Trumpet’s Sharp Dressed Man) has picked up a couple nice breed wins and a group 2. His daughter, Tinsel was shown during the Rocky Mountain Kees specialty week and got a major and a total of 5 points going WB at a couple of shows. Keith and Donny entered his local show in Raleigh NC and received 2 NOHS placements in some pretty large groups. GCH Trumpet’s A Little Bit Rock N Roll. Nice jog guys🙌🏼💜

Best of Opposite at Capital Specialty #2 goes to my best girl “Georgia May” GCH Trumpet’s Papa Was A Rolling Stone And Traci’s new kid, Fergie went RWB. Thought I’d sneak away to the Capital Keeshond Club specialty and had some fun going WB with Diva. Congrats to her co-owners Dennis & Kim on their 1st Champion. Her mama Georgia May (GCH Trumpet’s Papa Was A Rolling Stone)went Select Bitch and her grandkid won both her classes in sweeps and regular. Happy to see Ms Fergie w/ Traci at her first show! Trumpet’s Big Girls Don’t Cry.

In March, we hit two local shows and a regional specialty. We don’t go much these days, so thankful we could check some boxes with the crew. “Calvin” finished his CH and picked up 2 breed wins from the classes and a group 3. “Gracie” got a couple of points at one of our local shows. Should be able to get her out more this fall. “Georgia May” racked up some Grand champion points at the specialty week in York, and a couple Best Opp with one being at a specialty. “Diva” picked up her first points, a major, at the supported entry and “Stanza” finished her CH the way her momma likes it🥰 (at a specialty). Congratulations to co-owners Kim & Dennis Kirven & Randy & Kathi Morgart on Diva and Gracie’s wins. 🏆🏆🏆🏆

The KCDV specialty is a wrap. Oh these cuties did good. 🎉🎺💜
▪️At the Saturday specialty, our baby girl, “Diva” Trumpet’s R.E.S.P.E.C.T. Went Best In Sweeps under long-time breeder Angela Curtis handled by Hustle’s (her sire) breeder/owner Kathi Fleisher. “Dash” Trumpet’s Who’s Zoomin’ Who was Best Opp in sweeps and his owners Linda and Dan Fletchers were there to cheer him on …and fetch my stuff 😂. At the specialty, Diva was RWB and Dash was Best Of Winners for his 2nd major.
▪️At the Sunday specialty “Dash” was Winners Dog for his 3 rd major🎺🎺🎺 I had Billie entered on Sunday and she knocked it out of the park. I’m so proud of her. She wasn’t back in coat but just needed 3 singles to finish. Pleased as punch that she finished at the specialty by going Winners Bitch, Best Of Winners. Thank you Toni Hicks for taking Dash back in. Congratulations to the many other winners over the 4 days.

Fun times at the local shows with mother/daughter Georgia May & Billie. Billie (Trumpet’s Don’t Lose My Number) picked up 2 more majors this week and her dam Georgia May is a new GCH! Trumpet’s Papa Was A Rolling Stone. On Saturday she had to show off and win the breed and a Group 2 under Carolyn Herbel.
