Yep, this. I work with reactive dogs nearly every day. During an assessment, it’s helpful to see what their initial reaction is; without subjecting another dog to reactivity. It also allows the owners to practice handling skills without the worry of another dog reacting to their dog. Obviously, we move onto real dogs when appropriate and when everyone is comfortable. ❤️

Alright, alright…
I added another puppy one class. I got a s**t ton of emails; so go register!

I normally make this post on Sept 25th, but time got away from me.
I’m going to give you a yearly reminder that Christmas is three months away. If your dog doesn’t like people coming into your house, if your dog jumps on guests, if your dog’s going to p*e on the Christmas tree, the best time to start working on these things was three months ago. The second best time is now.

I can absolutely not accommodate last-minute requests for private lessons during the week of Thanksgiving and the day or week of Christmas (this happens every year). You need to start working on these things now. Get them into classes or book an appointment online.
Don’t end up on the naughty list by setting your dog up for failure! Be the human your dog deserves.
