Another successful orthopedic case at APEX Veterinary Surgery! 🐾🦴

This sweet girl came to us with a tibia and fibula fracture that required surgical repair to restore proper alignment and function. With the expertise of Dr. Maxwell and the dedication of our surgical team, we performed a precise stabilization procedure to give this pet the best possible outcome.

The attached images show a behind-the-scenes look at our team in the operating room, along with before and after radiographs demonstrating the repair. Cases like these highlight the importance of advanced surgical care and teamwork in getting the healing process started for helping our patients.

Gracie Lou Freebush 🌸🐾

Named after Sandra Bullock’s iconic character in Miss Congeniality, this sweet girl truly lived up to her name yesterday. 💕

While getting prepared for her knee surgery, Gracie gently placed her paw right into the hand of our anesthesia nurse, Rachael—as if she knew she was in caring, loving hands.

Calm, trusting, and full of quiet charm, she reminded us all exactly what her name represents—grace, kindness, and a heart that wins everyone over.

Ollie stopped by for a very important milestone last week — staple removal after her bilateral TPLO surgery! 🐾✨

This sweet girl took the whole thing like an absolute champ. As you can see, Ollie was perfectly content to relax on the floor while getting lots of love and reassurance. Her nurses, Rachael and Chelsea, made sure she felt safe and calm the whole time — and honestly, we think they enjoyed the cuddle session just as much as Ollie did. 💕

With her adorable belly-up pose and those big trusting eyes, Ollie reminded us why we love what we do. Healing looks good on you, sweet girl!

🐾 Team USA has a new four-legged Olympian! 🐾

Kevin is proudly representing the USA at the Olympics this year — and we think he’s bringing home the gold in cuteness and courage! 🥇

This little champion recovered from surgery (a**l sacculectomy) just in time to compete, and seeing him strong, happy, and ready to “curl” absolutely made our day. 💙❤️🤍

We are so incredibly thankful to his mom for sharing this photo with us. Our entire team was all smiles when it came through 🥰 He may have graduated from recovery, but it means the world to us that he still checks in and lets us cheer him on!✨
