Built on mentorship, dedication, and years of experience, our success reflects the dogs we love and the people who shaped our journey. Jordean Kennels was established in 1984 when the late Dennis Jordan and Andrea Jordan whelped their first litter of Brittany puppies in Colorado. The Jordans bred, owned or handled over 200 CH, with many, many more titled in field, hunting, and companion events. Th

eir Hall of Fame CH Jordean All Kiddin' Aside JH (Ollie) was the first Brittany to reach 51 BIS and he still holds the record for National (5) and Summer Specialty (5) BOB wins. He is the top sire of CHs (~200) and Best in Show winners (10) and has also produced 3 Dual Champions! His Dam - CH Jordean Millette Just Kiddin' holds the distinction of not only being Ollie's mom, but also the dam to CH Jordean All Dress Up (BeBe) who still holds the bitch record for number of Best in Shows with five. Jordean Brittanys have won the National Specialty top honors 10 times! After Dennis' death in 1996, Andrea (now Lane) showed and bred sparingly. She handled Ollie to his last National Specialty from the veteran's class and also earned back to back National BOBs on CH Jordean Your Wildest Dreams JH. Several litters that she has co-bred with others have continued to succeed at the national level. Most recently she started breeding under the Kettle Hill's banner and her first litter produced GCH CH Kettle Hill's Could I Be Any More Handsome out of an Ollie daughter. "Chandler" was WD/BOW/Best Puppy at the 2021 National Specialty where he finished undeated for BOW from the puppy class.

What an incredible experience this was. It stirred up so many memories—and at the same time reminded me just how much I don’t remember! 😵‍💫 Trying to compress such a meaningful chapter of life into a short conversation is truly daunting, especially when your mind is juggling a thousand moments at once. 😜 The dogs, the people, the journeys, the challenges—all of it comes rushing in with every new question.
More than anything, I want to express my sincere and humble appreciation for all the people who supported me, guided me, and shared in those experiences—especially those I didn’t have the chance to mention in the interview. There were so many who played an important role, and I’m deeply grateful to each of you.
I also want to apologize for the gaps in my memory—mixing up a dog’s record here or forgetting a meaningful detail there. Those moments mattered, even if I couldn’t recall them as clearly as I would have liked.
While I’m proud of what was accomplished, what means even more to me is how much I grew from it all. The dogs, and the incredible people whose paths crossed mine, taught me far more than any achievement ever could—they helped shape me into a better person.
