With the heaviest hearts, we share that one of our longest-standing pack members, Phineas, has crossed the rainbow bridge. Reaching the incredible age of 16, he was a constant and unwavering presence in our lobby — his vibrant voice and ever-wagging tail bringing joy to his family, friends, and fellow pack members every single day.
Phineas was fiercely loyal, boundlessly energetic, and unapologetically handsome. He greeted us with warm cuddles on our good days, our bad days, and all the days in between. Without ever speaking a word, he taught us the true meaning of unconditional love, selfless compassion, and eternal friendship. He filled his entire community with immeasurable joy.
He lived fully in the moment and embraced life’s simplest pleasures: pack walks, slumber parties with friends, swimming laps in the creek, persistently lobbying humans for delicious treats, demanding belly rubs, and pooping in the most unexpected places. Even in his final days, despite limited mobility, he would determinedly get his steps in around the lobby, pausing only for cuddles, cookies, and naps. That was our Phineas.
Rest in peace, sweet boy. We already miss you more than words can say. Until we meet again. 🌈🐾
