English Cream Golden Retrievers are only different from the American Golden Retriever in color. They have the same adoring, loyal, affectionate gentle temperament as an American Golden Retriever. They are the best family dogs and one of the most popular breeds in the world. Our English Creams have champion international bloodlines and are the lightest “creamiest” colors. The Golden Retriever is a dog for anyone and everyone. Goldendoodles combine the loving personality of the Golden Retriever and the intelligence of the Standard Poodle. They tend to shed less and can be more hypoallergenic. They are active, fun loving, often silly dogs. They are one of the most popular breeds in the country. They are loyal and love the constant company of their humans. Aussiedoodles, often referred to as “The Einstein of Dogs,” combine the intelligence of the Standard Poodle and the activity, work ethic, loyalty and brilliance of the Australian Shephard. They too can shed less and also tend to be tolerated by those with allergies. Aussiedoodles are active and love to play and can have a strong herding instinct. They love their human companions, and love to be challenged in training. There is little an Aussiedoodle cannot do. There is something wonderfully humbling about raising puppies. Just when you think you know what Mother Nature has planned, she smiles, winks, and writes a story all her own.
After Wren and Alfie welcomed their last litter of beautiful red puppies, we found ourselves dreaming about another rainbow of warm reds, rich browns, and creamy apricots. We were certain we knew what was coming.

Well... Mother Nature had other plans.
Instead of caramel and cinnamon, our whelping box filled with pandas and panthers! Tiny black-and-white spotted babies that remind us of little Holstein calves, alongside sleek black puppies that could pass for miniature Angus calves. Eight perfect little surprises arrived—five handsome boys and three beautiful girls—each one wearing a coat that is completely unique.

The truth is, black and black-based mini Goldendoodles are absolutely breathtaking as they mature. Their rich, glossy coats, striking white markings, expressive eyes, and elegant presence make them truly unforgettable. While reds and creams may be the colors many people expect and are certainly the most common, these little ones remind us that some of the rarest treasures arrive in the most unexpected packages.

Wren is doing beautifully and has completely embraced motherhood once again. She adores her precious little dominoes and black diamonds, carefully tending to each one with the patient, devoted heart that makes her such an incredible mama.
Reggie, on the other hand... seems to be denying paternity. We can almost hear him saying, "Those black and spotted ones? I don't know anything about that!" Sounds like a Jerry Springer episode. 😄

Of course, we know better.
We're completely smitten with every one of these unexpected little blessings and can't wait to watch their personalities bloom over the coming weeks. Once again, these puppies have reminded us that some of life's sweetest gifts are the ones we never see coming.

Luna, our breathtaking blue merle Australian Shepherd with her piercing crystal-blue eyes, and Mack, our incredibly handsome standard tri-color phantom Poodle, are expecting another extraordinary litter of puppies on August 10. These puppies have captured so many hearts that several of our families have returned to welcome a full sibling into their homes—a testament to just how exceptional this pairing truly is.

Both Luna and Mack have undergone extensive health testing, including excellent and good hip certifications, normal elbows, normal patellas, advanced cardiac clearances, and comprehensive eye clearances, giving families confidence that these puppies come from parents with outstanding health and sound structure. Wren and Reggie have returned from their honeymoon, and we're thrilled to announce that they're expecting a beautiful litter of F1b Mini Goldendoodles!

We couldn't be more excited to welcome Reggie to our lineup of handsome studs. With his outgoing, lovable personality and his striking Parti coat with tan points, he brings something truly special to this pairing. These puppies are sure to be as gorgeous as they are charming! Some are expected to inherit Reggie's stunning Parti pattern, while others may be rich red, creamy white, or soft cream in color.

Alfie is a darling 17-pound Mini Goldendoodle with a heart full of love and an endless passion for fetch. As one of the beloved dogs retiring from our breeding program, he is ready to begin the next chapter of his life as a cherished family companion.

To say we’ve been busy since our first litter in January would be an understatement. In just five short months, we welcomed five beautiful litters into the world — more than we’ve ever had in such a brief season. It has been a journey filled with unforgettable highs and some very emotional lows, including an emergency c-section and the bittersweet arrival of the final litter from our beloved Pearl.

One of the hardest parts of breeding dogs is knowing when it’s time to retire the incredible mamas who have given so much of themselves. There is an ache that comes with closing that chapter, but also so much comfort in knowing they now get to spend their days being pampered, adored, and living the peaceful life they so deeply deserve after bringing immeasurable joy to so many families.

Through every sleepless night, every tiny paw, and every goodbye, we have had the privilege of meeting some truly extraordinary people. Our hearts have been deeply touched by the families who understand the incredible power a dog has to heal hearts, bring comfort, and change lives in the most beautiful ways. Watching these puppies become cherished members of loving homes is something we will never take for granted.

We are undeniably exhausted and very ready for a little rest — thankfully, no puppies are expected until the end of summer — but even in the exhaustion, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. Thank you to every family who has trusted us and chosen a Doodle Patch puppy to love. Your support, kindness, and the stories you share with us mean more than words could ever express. We are endlessly grateful to be a small part of your lives and your families’ stories.

On March 29th, Pearl and Tucker's Grand Finale litter arrived like the closing notes of a perfect symphony—soft, glowing, and impossible not to fall in love with. This “Grand Finale” litter of eight fluffy white AKC Cream Golden Retrievers feels less like an ending and more like a celebration of everything that makes their mama, Pearl, so special. Each puppy is a tiny encore: bright eyes, cloud-soft coats, and the kind of gentle, joyful spirit that Golden Retrievers seem to carry effortlessly.

This is their mother’s final curtain call, her last bow after a few years of raising beautiful, loving pups. And what a finale she has given us—eight perfect little stars. After this, she’ll retire exactly as she deserves: surrounded by comfort, attention, and a life of pure luxury (with plenty of naps, treats, and tennis balls of course).

This litter is spoken for, but we have kept two puppies to continue the Pearl and Tucker legacy of happy, beautifully structured, intelligent family companions and potential service and therapy dogs. Stay tuned. . . the next generation of Pearl and Tucker's gorgeous progeny is coming!
