🐴 The Honest Dating History:

I’ve had a pretty extended hiatus from riding, so my skills and ground manners are a little rusty. I’m currently brushing up on my résumé and getting back into the swing of things. I’m a smooth ride and picking things back up, but I’m looking for someone patient enough to help me continue my education.

With the right person and a little more time under saddle, I could see myself pursuing a career in low-level dressage, trail riding, or possibly even leadline duties. I’m versatile. I contain multitudes.

HOME FOUND 🥰
Mustang Sarge is looking for a new address! About him: 5 year old, gelding, 14.3 hh and thick, titled Mustang.

First ride back after having most of the summer off and he was great!

UTD vaccinations, teeth, farrier, coggins drawn today, and dewormed.

Easy to handle and good manners, loves everyone, very affectionate, good for vet and farrier. Been on trails, done a few small jumps, rides English or western.

Best suited for someone that wants to ride consistently. I’d still consider him green. Prefers a balanced rider. More woah than go. Needs a controlled diet.

Fear is the greatest immobilizer to chasing dreams. I see this with horses all the time. People are afraid to mess up and therefore afraid to try. Being afraid is a human experience that we all face but how we respond to it is all the difference. One wise person once said, “Do something everyday that scares you, that is the secret to success,” and there’s so much truth to that! Don’t let fear stop you from living. The best way to overcome it to do the thing that scares you until one day you realize it doesn’t anymore. Filling your life with a positive support system is imperative.

I’m behind on sharing some of the cool horses that have come through my program.

Titus came for a 60 day conditioning training. He had some premature arthritis in his stifles and overall weakness in his top line and hind-end. He was pretty overweight as well so the vet prescribed fitness/strength training. When he arrived he had difficulty through the right side bending and holding himself up. His right lead was nonexistent and he had quite a few opinions about having to work so hard.

However, after his time here he can now hold his leads both directions, doesn’t fall in and out of his gait, and also left with much more energy than he came in with! AND… I took him to a show and he placed 3rd in his first ever show out of a class of 9! Not too bad for his first time out! Sorry for low quality video of a high quality horse!

I’m not advertising Tucker as beginner safe or kid safe… but look at the potential! This sweet boy only has 3 months of riding under him. I have full confidence that with consistency he will be the horse the whole family enjoys!

I’ve slowly been collecting videos and we are working on getting his professional photos taken and then his ad will be officially up! If you are interested in this sweet boy, feel free to message me to see if he’s the right family member for you!
