Blackjack is a fun, active pup with a personality that keeps everyone smiling. He absolutely loves getting the zoomies out in the yard and enjoys playing fetch — although bringing the ball back every time is still a work in progress!

This handsome boy is eager to learn, and his response to the “sit” command is improving every day. Blackjack’s playful spirit and lovable personality are quickly making him a favorite among both volunteers and staff.

He’s looking for an active family that will continue helping him learn and grow while giving him plenty of playtime, love, and adventures along the way.

Westley is a lovable boy with a big heart and so much love to give. He is both house-trained and kennel-trained, making him an easy companion to welcome into a home. Westley has a sweet, affectionate personality and enjoys being close to his people.

At the shelter, Westley was introduced to several dogs and did very well. He is playful and social, but also respectful — if another dog isn’t interested in playing, he listens to their corrections and settles down nicely.

Westley is looking for a loving family with plenty of room for him to roam, play, and be included in everyday life. With his gentle nature and playful spirit, he’s ready to become someone’s loyal best friend.

Bubba ❤️
This senior gentleman is in need of a soft landing.
Bubba was originally adopted from the shelter back in 2014, but recently found himself back with us as a stray. We have made multiple attempts to contact his adopter, but unfortunately have not received a response.
Bubba is looking for someone willing to give him the love, comfort, and TLC he deserves in his golden years. His back legs are weak, so he will need a one-story home. He may have difficulty on some flooring surfaces, but a simple support sling can help him navigate smooth floors and continue enjoying life.
Despite his challenges, Bubba still has plenty of love to give. What he needs most right now is a warm bed, a caring heart, and a place to call home.

Scruff is a goofy, playful boy with a heart full of love. He thrives around other energetic dogs and especially enjoys romping around with other dogs. Friendly with everyone he meets, including children,
He is house trained, affectionate, and convinced he is a lap dog — if you sit on the floor, he’ll happily climb right into your lap for cuddles. Scruff also handles baths, nail trims, ear cleanings, and veterinary exams like a champ.
Sweet, social, and full of personality, Scruff is ready to bring laughter, companionship, and lots of love to his forever home.

Pascal is an absolute sweetheart and truly a great little dog. He is very loving and enjoys being around people. He walks nicely on a leash, rides quietly in the car, and settles in so well you may even forget he’s in the back seat. Whether it’s walks, hikes, or runs, Pascal would make a wonderful companion for an active family.

He has had limited exposure to other dogs in foster care but has shown no dog reactivity. During his shelter intake, he handled the busy environment well and showed no aggressive behavior toward the other dogs around him. He has also done well around his foster’s dogs, though they have not freely mingled.

Pascal recently tried out a crate for the first time. He whined a little initially but settled down shortly after, and with continued positive exposure he should adjust nicely. His foster has been proactive with potty breaks, so while they cannot fully guarantee he is house trained, Pascal has not had accidents or marked in the home.
One thing to know about Pascal is that he is clever and athletic — he can climb or jump over a fence if there is something nearby for him to use as a boost. Because of this, he will need a secure yard without items near the fence line.

Overall, Pascal is a loving, fun little dog who deserves a safe and caring forever home.

Tickles is a sweet boy with a calm and easygoing personality. He walks nicely on leash and is not reactive when passing other dogs, making outings with him enjoyable and stress-free. He loves being petted and spending time exploring the yard at his own pace.

Tickles can also be very independent and is perfectly happy taking in the world around him. With his gentle nature and quiet confidence, he would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal and laid-back friend.

Meet Krypto — a big ole teddy bear with an even bigger heart! This gentle giant is house trained, crate trained, and ready to be someone’s loyal best friend. Krypto enjoys walks, playing tug, agility fun, toys, and most of all just being with his people.

He is friendly with people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs and even cats. Krypto truly has a sweet, gentle nature that makes him hard not to love. Because of his large size, he may be a little too much for very young children during playtime.

We do recommend meet-and-greets with any resident dogs to help ensure a great match. Krypto is the kind of dog who will happily be your adventure buddy by day and cuddle companion by night.

Alma needs a foster or adopter

FOSTER NEEDED FOR ALMA

Alma is struggling in the shelter environment, and we truly believe it is the shelter itself — not Alma. This sweet little 28 lb girl is experiencing kennel stress and spends much of her day spinning in her kennel trying to cope with the environment around her.

But everyone who knows Alma knows the real her: a loving, petite girl with a heart full of affection. She has never met a stranger, walks nicely on leash, and absolutely lights up when she gets attention from people. She is happiest simply being near her humans and soaking up love.

Alma desperately needs a calm place to decompress and feel safe again. We are hopeful that a foster home could help remind her that the world is not as overwhelming as the shelter feels right now.

If you have pets at home, we encourage you to come meet Alma in person and bring the whole family so we can set up a proper meet and greet.

Alma currently has an upper respiratory infection (URI), so dog meet and greets cannot be facilitated at this time. However, we have wonderful staff members available who can counsel you on Alma and everything that comes with her.

Please help us give Alma the break she so desperately needs. She is such a special girl and deserves the chance to relax, heal, and be loved.
