Just look at this amazing two-week transformation! 🐴✨ Saturday marks 14 days at Rough Diamond Equestrian Services.

We are incredibly proud of the notable weight gain Distorted Song has achieved since day one. This sweet 3-year-old red OTTB has been on a strict rehabilitation program here at Rough Diamond Equestrian Services, and the dedicated care and feeding routine is absolutely paying off.

Looking back at the beginning when his ribs and hip bones were heavily prominent, to seeing him visibly fill out and stand so peacefully in the aisle today, the difference in just 14 days is staggering. Whether he’s patiently wearing his leg wraps or just hanging out with the barn chickens during chore time, his whole demeanor is brightening up alongside his health.

We are taking it day by day to reach that perfect body score before any under-saddle work begins, but this boy is proving he’s a fighter. However, to continue providing him with the specialized feed, supplements, and veterinary care he requires, we are still in desperate need of donations. Every contribution goes directly toward furthering his access to the best care possible.

If you are able to help support Distorted Song's recovery journey, please reach out to our rescue line at 304-559-2544 or message us directly. Huge shoutout to everyone who has supported him so far—we can't wait to see what the next few weeks bring! ❤️

It was a highly productive day in the barn! 🐴✨
We had a fantastic farrier appointment today—everyone was incredibly well-behaved and stood perfectly while getting their feet done. There's nothing better than a fresh set of trims and resets to keep the herd moving comfortably.

After the farrier finished up, we rolled right into spa and rehab time. I am continually amazed by how effectively the cold compression and red light therapy work to reduce inflammation, boost circulation, and support overall recovery. Summer fell asleep during her red light session! We paired the therapy boots with a targeted poultice application to really draw out any heat and soothe their joints and muscles.

Whether they are working through rehabilitation or just needing some routine maintenance, combining these therapies makes a massive difference in keeping them sound, comfortable, and feeling their absolute best. Love seeing them so relaxed and soaking up the pampering! 💙💦
