Meet our new rehab project, Hipster! He was retired from racing with an injury that the owners wanted to have operated to give him the best chance to excel in a future career. Dr. Wes Sutter performed his fetlock arthroscopy and we are going to use some cutting edge biologics and shockwave to help him heal correctly and help prevent recurrence. Stay tuned for updates!

What a huge loss to the veterinary community and the world. My deepest condolences to Ty’s family and friends. He was such a huge influence to all that knew him and his work.

It is with the heaviest of hearts we announce the untimely passing of our founding partner, Dr. Ty Wallis.

A natural born leader, Ty was so many things to so many people. A friend. Son. Equine Veterinarian. Surgeon. Mentor. Pilot. Philanthropist. Above all else, he was an amazing husband and father to the loves of his life, Kristen and Hattie.

Equine Athlete Veterinary Services would not be what it is today without his ideas, talent and leadership. We are all better veterinarians and people because of his influence.

Thank you to everyone for the outpouring of love and support. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the Wallis family during this extremely difficult time.

SSE boarders and clients!! I just want to let you know that the horses are all under cover, dry, and safe. Please don’t try to drive and if you need anything let me know. We have plenty of feed, hay, and bedding so stay safe!

PSA for all clients and boarders: the horses are all happy, healthy, and hydrated! If you don’t have 4WD I would avoid Old Oxford and the barn parking lot. If you need anything extra done for your horses just let me know and stay safe!!

Merry Christmas everyone!! 60s and partly sunny is a little unusual, but the horses are pretty happy about it. We hope everyone has a peaceful day with those they love!
