We have a black top parking lot, please feel free to pull right up to the door for drop/pickup to keep you fur babies feet safe during these extreme temps! 🐾 🐾 🐾
☀️ Hot pavement alert for dog parents!
Your pup’s paws are more sensitive than you think. When the air is 85°F, concrete can hit 105°F and asphalt can reach a scorching 120°F! At 95°F air temp, asphalt can climb all the way to 155°F — that’s enough to seriously burn their paws in seconds.
The 7-Second Rule:
If it’s too hot for the back of your hand to stay on the pavement for 7 seconds, it’s too hot for your dog.
Help protect those precious paws this summer!
Walk during cooler hours (early morning or evening)
Stick to grass when possible
Consider booties or paw balm for extra protection
Tag a fellow dog parent who needs this reminder! 🐾❤️
