Shadow pupdate.

Well, that didn't take long.

Shadow was just adopted and judging by these pictures she skipped the whole awkward “getting used to a new home” part.

She's already got a dog sibling, she's going for car rides and she's climbed directly into her new dad's lap like that's where a German Shepherd obviously belongs.

We'd say she's settling in nicely, but we're not sure there was ever any settling involved.

She just moved in.

We owe you a Mercy AND babies update.

Mercy is in her foster home and doing really, really well. Her breathing has improved, she is eating great, housebroken, good with the other dogs, loves the kids and is incredibly well mannered.

She has also attached herself to the little boy in the house and follows him everywhere. After everything this dog has been through, we love seeing her trust people this much.

And look at her babies.

Those five cold, wet, hours-old puppies we carried into Rolling Hills are now fat little potatoes. They are doing great in their foster home, growing like crazy and clearly aren't missing any meals.

It's hard to believe this was all just a little over a week ago.

Mercy is also ready for adoption. Of course with everything she's been through, we're going to be looking for the perfect home for her. She's shown us in foster that she's good with dogs, loves kids, is housebroken and pretty darn easy to have around.

We can't thank everyone enough for the outpouring of support for Mercy and her babies. Thousands and thousands of people cared about a dog most of you had never met and helped us when she needed it.

We wanted you to see what all that caring looks like now.

Wh**ey is looking pretty hopeful, and with that face, we don’t blame him.
This goofy boy came to us when his owner became homeless. He’s only a year old, weighs 48 pounds, is great with other dogs, easygoing and likes to please. He’s also fully vetted and apparently sat for this picture with his back feet in a different zip code.
He really is just an adorable, good boy looking for his next person.

August got professionally groomed because apparently being beautiful wasn’t getting the job done.
Triple E Grooming gave her the full spa treatment, so she is back to show everyone what they overlooked the first time.
August is two years old, 53 pounds and an easygoing, gentle girl. She is sweet, friendly and now extra fluffy.
Her relationship with birds is still less Disney princess and more nature documentary, so chickens, ducks and other feathered friends should sit this adoption out.
Freshly groomed, fully vetted and still waiting.

Meet Hercules. He is two years old and a whopping 100 pounds. About 70 pounds of dog and 30 pounds of legs he has no idea what to do with.
Hercules came to us from a horrible neglect case. Charges are filed. We are still getting to know this big mooka, but we already know he likes to sit like this and stretch out like he has somewhere important to be photographed.
He takes up a lot of space. All of it, if it’s available.
