Another chapter of good that Scott County Animal Care & Control does for our community, but most importantly for the fur babies that find themselves in their care.

Great story featuring our own Scott County Humane Society about sad statistics on black kitties.

Researchers have found black cats had the highest euthanasia rate and the lowest adoption rate among the coat colors studied.

🦎Happy National Reptile Awareness Day!

Not all pets have fur - some have scales and shells. Did you know there are over 10,000 species of reptiles worldwide?

Share a picture of your scaly friend below.

Whether you have a bearded dragon, curious gecko, gentle turtle or other scaly family member, make sure they have the experienced, specialized care they deserve when you are away. Next time you plan to be away, leave your reptiles in the care of those who know how to meet their needs while maintaining a stress free environment for them following your specified care instructions.

Happy, healthy pets start with observant pet owners and routine, regular vet care.

October is National Pet Wellness Month and we are celebrating ways we care for pets that mean so much to us.

For All Critters Pet Sitters, that means paying close attention to pets in our care during visits and making sure we inform clients of anything we notice that may be of concern.

When leaving your furry family member in the care of a pet sitter, make sure we have updated medical information, current veterinarian and exact medication dosage and schedule.
