Here's a lovely story from one of our "Forever Homes". Hearing these stories makes what we do so special!

"After losing my 17-year-old Toy Fox Terrier, I spent a lot of time researching breeds before deciding on a whippet. Bringing Dutch home turned out to be one of the smartest decisions I’ve ever made and within two weeks I realized I absolutely couldn’t have just one, so we came back for Aerie too.

Whippets truly are the best companions. They’re gentle, loving, social, and incredibly easy to take anywhere. Dutch and Aerie love meeting new people and making pet friends everywhere they go. There genuinely isn’t a mean or aggressive bone in their bodies.

They’re stunning athletes too (they’ve practically worn a racetrack around our pool house in the backyard) but what makes me laugh most is that for all their speed and athleticism, their favorite activity is still piling onto the couch together, finding a sunny spot outside, or curling up in the world’s biggest dog pile (usually involving humans too).

They’re beautiful, affectionate, goofy, elegant little souls, and they’ve become my very best friends. I’m endlessly grateful they’re mine."

Here's another update from one of our forever homes.

Willow is doing amazing! Just wanted to send you some updated pics! I think she’s finally winning over our stingy Min Pin Poppy lol! Willow is insanely fast! I can’t imagine how fast she will be when she is a full grown. It cracks us up when she puts her ears totally back and you can tell she is going into sport mode! 😂 Willow loves everyone she meets and everyone falls in love with her as soon as they see her!🥰 She is 15 & 1/2 pounds and I’m not sure how big she will get full grown but as of right now we are still able to carry her everywhere! 😂

We just got an update from Rachel, who actually has given 2 of our pups a forever home. Nyx is 4 years old, and she just welcomed Pippin. Here's her update.

"Pippin is doing fantastic. We have really fallen in love with him. He's an awesome little guy. He is sassy and scrappy, but he's also smart and a fast learner."

This came in from one of our forever families. Hearing from you means so much to us!

Our sweet Cobalt is two years old today. It doesn’t even seem possible. He is the sweetest boy. His personality is like no other. He brings us such joy. He is funny, independent, smart, loves other dogs and people, sweet, cuddly and childlike. When he is ready to settle at night he always grabs a stuffed animal to either put his head on or hold between his paws. He has a hard time with the word NO, because he is always right. He does obey commands very well. He lives the snow, rain and wind (are you sure he is a whippet? Ha) He has our whole hearts forever. You gave us one of the best things life has to offer.

So many people got instant happiness, in one small bundle! Here's another wonderful story from Mary in Santa Fe:

Dearest Mardel,

Amaya turned 3 years old yesterday! I have been meaning to reach out forever to let you know how grateful I am to you for providing me with THE most loving, gentle, kind, and beautiful being I have EVER experienced. She is the love of my lifetime.

Her sister "Nala" is quite different from her, yet they run together once a week and are dear friends.

There are no words to thank you enough. Deeply grateful! Blessings to you and Bruce, with all our love,
