Getting already Mature Spiders is rough because you never get enough time! I got to spend as much time as I could with Mordecai and now he has passed!

My wife helped me set him up and take some good final shots! He passed sometime yesterday after not eating for awhile. The last time I handled him was 6 days ago, and knew time was nearing as he refused to eat and only drink water.

I can only pray that Betsy is fertile and only taking her time to produce some babies! I may have gotten him mature but it’s nice to know that he lived to his full life span with me ( about 7 months after maturity ). RIP 😭
