Yesterday, one of our amazing clients, Nissa, shared a heartwarming moment with us, and we would love to share it with you all, while also shining a spotlight on a very important organization.

Nissa ran the Chicago Marathon on Sunday and was surprised at the 23-mile mark by her dog, Zissou. Zissou is a fabulous boy who is very loved by all of us here at Valley. Sadly, he has cancer.

Nissa ran the race for Zissou and in support of an incredible organization, the , which helps “provide support and financial assistance to families whose pet faces a cancer diagnosis.”

Nissa shared that Live Like Roo has “paid for all of Zissou’s cancer-related bills and do so much for the pets (and their humans) going through all of this. There are literally no words for how much that means to our family.”

We are so grateful Nissa shared this story with us and for helping shine a light on this amazing organization.🧡

Have you ever caught yourself thinking..."Maybe they're just slowing down"?
It's easy to chalk little changes up to getting older. But sometimes they're not signs of aging at all. Sometimes they're signs of arthritis. In fact, osteoarthritis affects 40% of pets — but most go undiagnosed. And the good news? Arthritis pain can often be managed with safe, effective treatments and isn't something your pet simply has to live with. So, if you do notice any potential signs – talk to us! We can help your pet feel like themselves.
