Alister is using Frank's attire for business purposes. He had to meet with his veterinarian to discuss going back to dry food and playing with his toys because a ball obsessed dachshund can only take so much. He's healing wonderfully from his surgery and he had all restrictions lifted. I'll still keep our extra "Sniff Walks" because it's good for both of us.

If you are a fan of Frank's and want to know exactly how his ear felt, get this plant. Appropriately named! I bought one...

I made it through the speech and as an added unexpected bonus, my husband decided that I should do a news station interview. 😬 I have yet to see that. Alister did okay representing Frankin Beans today. I did get a bit sad, but then seeing all of the weens was like sunshine upon my heart. We can't wait until next year's! It'll be the 25th!!!

Again this year I, Frankin Beans' "Muh-ma," have the incredible honor of speaking at the annual Rochester Dachshund Parade about IVDD. These are pics from 2024. I will be advocating for the prevention of and the hope with this horrible disease that impacts more than dachshunds.

I need to apologize to all of Frank's followers, dachshund owners, and (if he was still here) Frankin. I should be using his memorial page in a way that helps those dealing with IVDD. I do not share enough about it. I won't go crazy with it, but it is very important to me and I believe that I have gone through what I did with my best friend so that I can help others.

Okay, my local people and dachshunds, come out May 9th to Washington Square Park in Rochester for our annual dachshund parade. I'll try to share an event link in the comments, but if I can't you can do a Facebook search for it and it should come up. Hole to see you there! No dachshund? No problem, we just ask that you not bring another breed of dog as some weens have issues with other breeds. We do welcome humans of all walks of life though! Alister's Adventure will be joining us again this year.
