🛑⚠️ATTENTION BOARDING CUSTOMERS:
I never enjoy making posts like this 😣, but because this has become an increasingly common issue, I feel it’s important to address it.

I completely understand that our kennel drop-off and pickup hours are limited. However, those hours are not in place to make things inconvenient for our customers. They are intentionally structured to help us maintain the calm, consistent environment we work very hard to provide for every dog staying with us.

Dogs thrive on routine and structure. Constantly introducing new dogs into the kennel or having dogs leave throughout the day can disrupt the atmosphere and increase excitement and stress for the dogs in our care. Keeping consistent drop-off and pickup windows allows us to maintain our routine and keep the kennel as calm and comfortable as possible. There are additional reasons for our hours as well, and I am always happy to discuss those with anyone who has questions.

Going forward, arriving outside of our posted kennel drop-off or pickup hours without prior communication will result in a $35 after-hours charge added to your bill at pickup.

This policy is not new. It has been in place for several years and is included in the boarding information we text to every client along with our hours, pricing, requirements, and other policies. I have been extremely lenient about enforcing the $35 charge in the past, but unfortunately, I can no longer continue overlooking repeated arrivals outside of our scheduled hours.

I also understand that life happens! ❤️ Delays, emergencies, work schedules, traffic, and unexpected circumstances come up. If you realize you are not going to make your scheduled drop-off or pickup window, please simply text or call me ahead of time at 217-259-2571. I will always do my best to work with you when there is communication.

What we can no longer accommodate is arriving outside of kennel hours without any prior communication when our hours and policies have already been provided.

If you do not have our newly updated boarding information text, please reach out and I will gladly send it to you.

Thank you so much for your cooperation, understanding, and continued business. We truly appreciate everyone who trusts us with their dogs, and these policies help us provide the safest, calmest, and best environment possible for them. 🐾❤️
