🐾 A Happy Update from Comet! 💙

When Comet, a Labrador Retriever, was out training in the fields, what started as a normal day quickly turned into an emergency. He suddenly collapsed, and because his family was visiting the area, they didn't have a local veterinarian to turn to.

Thankfully, we were able to see Comet right away. Our team quickly determined that his blood sugar was dangerously low. We began emergency treatment to help raise his blood sugar and stabilize him before he was transferred to Michigan State Veterinary Hospital for advanced care.

The best part of this story came about a month later, when Comet's owner stopped by just to show us how well he was doing. Seeing him bright, happy, and on the road to recovery absolutely made our day! ❤️

While we may only be part of a patient's journey for a short time, moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Thank you to Comet's family for trusting us during such a stressful time—and for taking the time to come back and share such a wonderful update.

We wish Comet many more healthy, happy adventures in the field! 🐕🌾💙

🐾💙 Future Veterinary Professionals in the Making! 💙🐾

Over the past few months, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming two student shadows, Jaeden and Kayley, to Hall Veterinary Clinic! They spent time with our team learning more about the veterinary field, what goes into caring for our patients, and the many different opportunities this profession has to offer. 🐶🐱

As they head off to begin their freshman year of university, we are excited to see where their passion for veterinary medicine takes them! To celebrate this next chapter, they each received a special handmade gift crafted by our veterinary assistant, Lexi. 🎁🐾

🐾 Meet Pepper Spiderman! 🐾

This adorable Irish Wolfhound puppy may be small right now, but she won't be little for long! 🐶💕

Pepper has some big growing ahead of her and will soon transform into the gentle giant she's meant to be. Irish Wolfhounds are known for their sweet, loving personalities and impressive size, and we can't wait to watch this little one grow into her paws.

Of course, Dr. Krupsky had to take advantage of the puppy snuggles while Pepper is still small enough to fit comfortably in her arms! 🥰🐾 These puppy visits are always full of tail wags, cuddles, and excitement as we help our youngest patients start their journey toward a lifetime of good health.

It doesn't get much cuter than a kitten enjoying a Churu. 🩵

Abu was all about snack time during his visit, giving us the perfect opportunity to admire his many extra toes! As a polydactyl kitty, he's got a few bonus toe beans that make him one of a kind!

Needless to say, Abu was the highlight of our day. 🐾

💙 Good news for Gila!

After his eye exam, we discovered that the spot in his eye is a benign iris cyst. While it looked concerning, the diagnosis was reassuring.

A quick reminder to pet owners: if you notice any changes in your pet's eyes, even if they don't seem painful, it's always worth having them examined.

Way to be such a good boy, Gila!
