Back to black, got tired of the side-eye I kept getting w purple hair lol
Now that I'm in the home stretch here’s some things I've learned going through this move under pressure and alone;
1. Perfect is the enemy of "done"; it will never be perfect but it can be completed.
2. No one is coming to save you, but you're stronger than you think; waiting for help or permission will just cause delays
3. Rest is not a reward, it's necessary;
Pushing yourself to the breaking point will only cost you more later, take a break and let yourself rest.
4. You will grieve your old life, even if you're ready to leave it; when your home becomes a graveyard of memories it's ok to feel sad even if you're excited.
5. People who cheer for you may not show up during the hardest parts; not everyone is meant to walk through the fire with you.
6. You'll feel guilty for making rational decisions when you're locked in survival mode; choose peace over pressure
7. Letting go of stuff is easier than letting go of the person you were when you got it;
No one warns you of this, have faith, things are transient, in the long run they don't really matter.
8. Don't wait for applause; regardless of the mess and chaos, you accomplished something no one will ever fully appreciate.
9. The stuff that's hardest to throw away has nothing to do with money; the ghosts of memories will weigh the heaviest
10. You learn the most about people when you ask for help
11. Planning doesn't mean anything will go to plan; but you'll adapt and figure it out anyway
12. You don't have to feel ready to get started; the task at hand carries more weight in worry than the task itself
13. You can be proud and heartbroken at the same time
