❤️ **SAFE!** ❤️

This sweet boy was first seen **before the floods in Anderson, Indiana**, with his girlfriend. After she was taken to safety, he remained behind, staying in an abandoned garage.

A wonderful neighbor set up a feed station and we came in to set the trap, but he just wasn’t ready to go inside. So, we **bungied the trap open for the night**, giving him a safe and secure place to get comfortable.

It worked! 🥹❤️ The next morning, once the trap was properly set, he felt safe enough to walk right in.

We are so happy to say that **he is now safe and at APL!** 🐾

Another one safe. Another life worth fighting for. ❤️

We got your back Wild Mother Nature Animal Rescue and many other rescues and shelters we work with! The safety of animals comes first for all of us at PPR!

This is what community looks like. 🩷

We are SO grateful for the amazing women at Pawsitive Purpose Rescue, who reached out to us and didn’t hesitate for a second to offer their trapping resources and expertise to help us safely capture a dumped pet fox. We’re still working on getting the animal and are trying a different route tonight, but the fact that this rescue stepped in to help has been so so incredibly important to us. It was a long day and night yesterday.

Wildlife rescue can be incredibly challenging, and sometimes the resources we need are outside of our own reach. That’s why having a strong network of fellow rescuers matters so much. When one rescue needs help, another steps up. No competition, no hesitation, just people coming together because we all want the same thing: to help an animal in need. And although we didn’t get the fox last night, we did get a very meaningful connection to community.

We are beyond grateful for Pawsitive Purpose and for every rescue, rehabber, volunteer, and animal advocate within our network who is always willing to lend a hand. THANK YOU!!

Hey, followers. ❤️

We don’t ask for help very often, but **we could really use it right now.**

As you know, Pawsitive Purpose Rescue runs **entirely on donations**. To date, we have not received any grants, so everything we do for the animals comes from the generosity of our supporters.

During the flooding, we had a total of six** trail cameras**, and unfortunately, we have lost **four of them**. These cameras are an important part of what we do, especially when we're working to locate and safely trap stray or lost animals.

Right now, we also have a great need for **food and veterinary care**. We never charge owners when we help recover their pets, and we trap stray animals at **no cost**. We simply ask that people donate if they are able.

We will be posting links for our **Amazon Wish List, Chewy donations, and Venmo**. Every donation, no matter the size, truly helps us continue this work. 🐾💙

Our biggest food needs right now are:

🐱 **Cat food**
🐶 **Puppy food**

Through the Chewy app, we regularly receive **beef and vegetable Pedigree**, so we currently do **not** need more of that. We also receive plenty of treats, so those aren't a priority right now.

If you can help with food, supplies, veterinary expenses, or even replacing one of our lost trail cameras, **we would be incredibly grateful.**

🐾 **SAFE TONIGHT!** 🐾

This beautiful stray dog had been loose around **400 East in Selma** for the past week. 💔 Every time I would walk away, he would howl — just like you can hear in the first video clip. It truly broke my heart.

Thankfully, he is **safe tonight**! ❤️ Muncie Animal Care & Services made space for him and took him in.

🐾 **Wrigley Is Home!** 🐾

Wrigley had been loose from his owner in Anderson, Indiana, for six days. After his owner was able to set up a feed station, we were able to safely trap him that very same day. ❤️

We are so thankful he is safe and back where he belongs.

What began for Sonya on July 26th ended on August 12th. ❤️🐾

Sonya got loose in Middletown from her new owner and was very much in **fight-or-flight mode**. Between scheduling conflicts, all the storms, and the distance, it seemed like the timing was never quite right to safely get her.

Her trap site also had a lot of wildlife and cats visiting the feed station, so we had to carefully coordinate the timing and be there at just the right moment.

But we finally got it done. 🙌🏼

We are SO thankful we were able to help this sweet girl and, most importantly, get her SAFE! 🥹❤️

Sonya is now home with her new dad, safe and sound, enjoying her new life. 🏡🐶

This is why we do what we do. Every chase, every storm, every late night, and every obstacle is worth it when they finally make it home. ❤️🐾
