It is getting warmer! And now is the perfect time to start getting your flea and tick prevention on board! Even if it doesn't seem "too warm" outside, it only takes one day of temperatures of 40 degrees for those ticks to get moving!
🐕 March is National Tick Awareness Month 🐶 As the warmer temperatures approaches, protect pets and families by starting tick prevention early, conducting regular tick checks. Ticks are parasites that feed on animal and human blood. (eeehhh..... yuck!)
FACT ‼️While 90-95% of infected dogs may never show symptoms, those that do often experience: lameness or stiffness in limbs, swollen or painful joints, lethargy, swollen lymph nodes. Rare cases but possible - kidney failure.
