Today is the last day of May, therefore the last day of my 5 year business anniversary tribute to Chief. I was doing 5 pictures a day but for the last day, I’m going to do 15. Even though this is the last day of this tribute, this is not be the last time I post about my angel boy 🩵.

It’s still doesn’t feel real to this day. The pain is still so fresh & loud. The barn is not the same nor will it ever be. I’m so blessed to have been Chief’s owner & have him apart of the family for almost 20 years. He’s touched so many lives, it’s truly countless the number. He was the horse I wish everyone could have in their lifetime & the horse that I never wanted to know a life without.

Until we meet again my angel baby 💔

Today we remember that freedom was never free.

We honor the brave men and women who laid down their lives for this country - for people they would never meet, for families they would never know, and for the freedoms we often take for granted every single day.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or the start of summer. It is a reminder of sacrifice. Of empty seats at family tables. Of parents, spouses, children, and friends who carry the weight of loss because someone they loved answered the call to serve.

May we never grow numb to the gift of freedom or forget the price that was paid for it.

Today we pause to remember the fallen, honor their courage, pray for the families left behind, and live with deeper gratitude for the liberties we are blessed to have.

To all who gave everything for our country - we remember you, we honor you, and we thank you.

Man, today’s been such a busy day! 15+ hours since I’ve been home, it’s 11:30pm & I’m just now headed to a drive through to eat a meal for the first time today. But you know what, I wouldn’t trade this life! Today I made my 40th match with my business 😁! I truly feel so blessed to do what I do & do it with great care & consideration for the horses & humans I work with! Congrats to Hannah Parks & Penny on your new adventure together ❤️
