Hard day at work? Day didn't go as planned?
Enjoy some cuteness. These Easter Egger chicks will available at the Agri Supply Farmer's market April 25.
Can't wait that long to take some cuteness home, feel free to reach out to me :)

Hatch Day is alway a Fun Day!
This time it's chicken chicks. I thought I heard something before leaving for the Cleveland Feed Goods + Feathers Markets & Events, but wasn't sure. Got back home and sure enough there's chirping coming from the incubatore.
I'll find out Monday what we have :)

First hatch of the year and it's cuteness overflow. These will be ready for the Cleveland School Rd farmer's market this Saturday (April 18). Come out and take some tiny fluff balls home :)

After a long break, I'm finally somewhat back to normal. The ankle surgery certainly has taken it out on me.
BUT I'm in full swing for growing and egg/chick season. My incubator is full with quail, chicken and guinea eggs. I've also sowed tons of herbs, tomatoes and peppers. I'm still at it too.
I plan to be at the Agri Supply Farmer's market this Saturday April 11th.
I won't have chicks yet since the quail go into lockdown on that Saturday. But I also plan to be at Cleveland Feed on that 18th - with at least quail chicks. And then the Agri Supply on the 25th - I should have quail and chicken chicks by then.
I'll have eggs available for hatching and eating.
Feel free to reach out independent of these markets with what you need :)

My chickens always ambush me when I enter the back yard. Well, I had treats for them - some lettuce. They LOVE lettuce. Gert eats from my hand, but here he's just camera shy.
Did I mention they LOVE lettuce?

Gert was in a self-imposed prison this afternoon. The run door was open just not held open by a bungee strap. So during some exciting chase or something, someone "closed" the door accidentally with Gert and a couple of girls insidee. One girl pushed her way out.
I guess Gert is just too gentle to push the door open. He sure could. He's a big hefty boy, but the gentlest roo I have.
Once I opened the door, the girls flocked to him. I don't know how he does it. He has his followers for sure.
