Todd Goat Farm Anyone is more than welcome to come & visit the goats. Please add your pictures, we would love to see them. There is no charge for interacting with the goats.

Todd Goat Farm, AKA Dove Glen Goat Farm as it is registered, is home to many Boar goats. They will be out as soon as my dad lets them out of the barn. We ask that you do not enter the pasture for liability reasons. Park on Todd Lane, honk your horn a few times and let the goats know you're there and they will come down to the fence. The goats will be happier to see you if you provide them with a

snack! Crackers, bread, veggies, fruit, or tortillas are great options. Please do not bring chocolate or frosting. Stand on the sidewalk and feed the goats through the fence. Do not climb over into the pasture. The previous owners, M.L. & Laura Todd lived and raised goats and chickens for over 50 years until Mr. Todd's passing in 2019. The Todd's daughter and son-in-law, Pam & Mike Baker, took over the goats and moved into the home where she was raised. The farm is located on the corner of Talley Rd. & Todd Ln. in north Garland. Come by & enjoy feeding the goats. If you see any of us, feel free to say hi. We love to talk about the goats, farming, and the history of this area. Happy heavenly birthday to the greatest grandfather that’s ever existed. Monroe Lee Todd, the namesake of Todd Goat Farm, would have been 98 today. Born and raised in Garland(&Farmersville), graduated from Garland High School, served in Army in Korea, worked for Lone Star Gas before becoming a Richardson Fireman. He worked his way up to fire Marshall and assistant fire chief before retiring in the late 80's. He started with the farm in the 60's on family land of his wife's parents, the Talley's (yes the road), after building the house. Horses, beef cattle, dairy cows, chickens, doves, a donkey or two, and several dogs, have all been on the farm. Luckily for y'all, he started with one goat (Buffy) in the late 70's for my sister to have "something to play with" when she visited. A great man, a great friend, and most importantly, a great Godly example. We love and miss you every single day.

It's been busy around here. 10 new healthy babies from 6 mommas. Talley has chosen country singer names, which is gonna be fun. She also got to help Misty with her two girls on Friday to give her Papawa a break.
