I’m often asked what training tools I use when working with my dogs. The truth is that tools are simply a way to help communicate clearly with our dogs. When used properly, they should support learning, confidence, and engagement…not discourage a dog from working.
Good training is always about clarity, fairness, and building a strong relationship between handler and dog. When dogs understand what is being asked, they become more motivated, confident, and eager to Every dog is different, so I focus on using the right approach for each individual dog to help them succeed.
At the end of the day, good training and responsible handling are what truly make the difference.
