CCs luckofthedraw "Petey" or as he should have been called Dennis the menace!! Just a few days shy of 6 years old this guy is the goofiest of the bunch. Some days we're not sure that he doesn't think he's a person😂😂😂

Petey's favorite things include antagonizing his brother all day long, destroying everything around him, and trying really hard to not put much effort into working(although he seems to get plenty of beauty rest around here)… But don't let that fool you he is also one of the smartest horses I have ever been able to work with. I truly believe you could light a bomb off underneath him and he would not flinch!

The quirkiest guy out of the bunch. Don't let his tough guys grumpy attitude fool you. Thirsty is enjoying the semi retired life after racing until 14. Luna has been with us for 8 years!! This gentle soul absolutely adores kids. When it comes to beginner lessons she's the girl. She loves sun bathing, being groomed, and her all time favorite snack is blueberry nutrigrain bars!!

Welcome to Lost Shoe Farm!! What a whirlwind of an adventure the past 2 years have been! We are so unbelievable excited for you all to finally join us. What started as a "maybe we should build our own barn and I really would like a shoeing shop" has now turned into so much more. We've officially had the horses home with us for just over a year! And we are so excited to share everything that we have been planning with you all!!

First a little bit about each of us!

Scott is a full time farrier, currently a CF working towards complete his CJF. He is a huge believer in continuing education and enjoys working with other farriers to meet each individual horses needs. His goal is to eventually have a majority of haul-in clients!

Libbie is a full-time riding instructor/trainer.A graduate of Umaine's animal science program with a focus in Equine management. She also completed an equine massage certification after graduating. For the past 15 years her major focus has been teaching youth and beginners the fundamentals of riding and horsemanship.

Our overall goal for the farm is to bring together like-minded people to continue the growth of our Equine community. Offering lessons, camps, training, clinics, forging days, trailer-ins, and so much more! We both are so excited to have you all along on this new journey!!
