Maine Stream Racing Stables Standardbred Harness Racing! Working hard every day training and conditioning our horses. See you at the races! Standardbred Harness Racing. Let's go racing!

My family has been in the industry for years, mother, father, sister and brother have all been in the business at one time or another. Our horses are athletes and treated with respect and caring. We train on a farm track in Maine but ship out to out of state tracks to compete. We have good days and of course disappointing days but each day is a learning experience for the betterment of our stable. We love what we do and hope you will enjoy our page and comment often.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mid-Atlantic Amateur Drivers Club Rallies Behind Maryland Driver Declan Donoway with Heartfelt Donation

FORT WASHINGTON, MD — The Mid-Atlantic Amateur Drivers Club (MAADC) is proud to announce a special donation to support fellow horseman and Maryland-based driver Declan Donoway as he undergoes treatment for cancer. The club donated their collective driver percentages from the February 5 and February 12 racing programs at Rosecroft Raceway to assist Donoway with his medical expenses.

The two-week initiative resulted in a total contribution of $1,825.00, which will be delivered directly to the Donoway family via the Maryland Standardbred Horsemen’s Assistance Fund..

The amateur driving community is known for its competitive spirit on the track, but this gesture underscores the deep-rooted camaraderie and support system that exists within the harness racing industry. As Donoway focuses on his health and recovery, the MAADC wanted to ensure he knew the racing community stood firmly behind him.

"This is exactly what the Mid-Atlantic Amateur Drivers Club is all about," said Gene Robinson. "We are a tight-knit group, and we believe in helping the industry and our fellow horsemen wherever and whenever we can. Declan is one of our own, and we are honored to support him during this fight."

The MAADC extends its gratitude to the management at Rosecroft Raceway and the many fans who continue to support Maryland harness racing. The club remains committed to promoting amateur driving while fostering a spirit of philanthropy and community within the sport.
