Small Patient, Big Heart: Meet Zeke!
Sometimes, the smallest patients leave the biggest impact on our team. When tiny Zeke was brought to us after being found with a severe hind leg injury, we knew we had to act fast.
At just 3 weeks old and weighing less than 0.5 lbs, Zeke is officially one of the tiniest amputation patients Dr. Andy has ever operated on! We are so proud to share that the emergency surgery was a success. Watching a kitten that small pull through such a major procedure is a testament to his incredible will to live.
Once Zeke was stable, our co-owner Beverly Mays fond him the perfect landing spot for his recovery. We reached out to our friends at , who helped connect this brave boy with the amazing team at .
We are so relieved he is now in a loving foster home getting the specialized care he deserves!
