🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED 🚨
We are urgently searching for a foster home for a sweet German Shepherd mix who needs a safe place to have and raise her puppies.

🐾 Approximately 2 years old
🐾 Very loving and friendly with people
🐾 Must be the ONLY animal in the home (no other dogs or cats)
🐾 Expected to give birth to approximately 5 puppies within the next couple of weeks

If you are able to open your home to her, Garden Ridge Animal Control will provide her food and cover all veterinary care while she is in foster care. You simply provide a safe, loving place for her and her puppies during this important time.

This sweet girl deserves a calm environment where she can feel safe before welcoming her babies. Fostering truly saves lives and gives her the chance she deserves.

New World Screwworms are something Texas pet owners may start hearing more about as they move north through Mexico toward the Texas border.

There is no need to panic, but it is a good reminder to check your pets regularly for wounds, swelling, discharge, unusual odor, or excessive licking/chewing.

If you notice anything unusual, please get in touch with us right away. Early detection is important, and there are no safe home remedies for suspected screwworm cases.

It is with very heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved clinic cat, Weebles.

Weebles was more than just our clinic cat… she was the heart and light of our hospital. She greeted clients, supervised appointments, and reminded us daily why we love what we do. Her presence brought warmth, laughter, and peace to our team and to so many of you.

We are deeply grateful to have shared so many beautiful years with her. She will be greatly missed by our staff, our clients, and the many patients who were lucky enough to meet her.

Thank you for loving her as much as we did.
Rest peacefully, sweet Weebles. 💛
