Hello WCAH friends and family. We wanted to take a minute to thank you all for the overwhelming outpouring of love you showed in the wake of Dr. Andersen's passing. He touched so many individual lives and it is an honor for each of us to have worked beside him for so long.

I know there is a lot of uncertainty that comes about when someone like Dr. Andersen passes away. We want to assure you all that we are going to remain open and we are dedicated to honoring the legacy of Dr. Andersen. Just as he would have wanted.

With that being said, there will be days here and there that we will have to close due to not having a Doctor available. We will do our best to post those dates ahead of time so you can be aware.

The first such date will be this coming Monday, October 19th. Our office is closed due to not having a Doctor available. We will return on Tuesday 10/20 at 7:30am.

Thank you all for your understanding and patience as we find our new footing!

We would like to take a moment to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support upon hearing of the passing of Dr. Andersen. All the photos and stories being shared are helping his wife, kids and loyal staff make it through this difficult time.

Seeing all the good he did and how loved he was gives us a small sliver of peace while we try our best to move forward.

It is with an incredibly broken heart that we share the news of Dr. Scott Andersen’s passing. Thursday morning he left his mortal vessel and is now caring for the pets in the great beyond. We are eternally grateful for everything he taught us and gave to us as a community.

This is going to be an incredibly difficult transition for all of us. Please be patient and kind. We are working to uphold a legacy, and we aren’t quite sure how to do that without him. All we know is that Scott would want us to care for the pets like he did, day after day for the past 44 years.

We are working on funeral arrangements and/or a celebration of life and will keep everyone abreast of the plans as they evolve.

Please keep his family and his loving team in your prayers.

Please try to pick up any needed meds or prescription diets today by 6pm. If you are in dire need of a medication/food/supply and can't get here by 6pm, please call us today to work out an alternate pickup option.
