What a week of fun for our gang that made the trek to the Paso Robles Events Center for the SLOCQHA Mother’s Day Circuit held June 10-14. SFQHA horses and competitors were seen everywhere from Halter to English, Western or Ranch. AQHA points were garnered, Circuit awards and PCQHA Buckle Bonanza prizes were won!
⭐️⭐️ Linda Patron piloted her two handsome chestnut geldings to not only Circuit Championships, but each also won a PCQHA Buckle Bonanza buckle. The Darque Knight was the Special Day L1 Amateur Trail champion and Peanut Budder Cup won the title in the L1 Amateur Western Pleasure for the Mother’s Day Circuit. Linda’s third horse, Made No Mistake, was a Top 5 placer in his Trail classes ridden by Sarah.
⭐️⭐️ SFQHA welcomes Donnie Flahavan and her husband Tom to our team and congratulate her and her horses for a great show. Riding Its Showtime Mr, the duo won the Special Day Select Ranch Trail Circuit Championship as well as tying for the Mother’s Day Circuit Championship in Select Ranch Riding. Donnie and Jordan picked up many blues and AQHA points in all of their Ranch disciplines. Donnie also showed her young horse, HF Frozen N Fabulous to wins and high placings in their Ranch Walk Trot classes.
⭐️⭐️ He Solved The Crime, owned and ridden by Jennifer Chan, was the Mother’s Day Amateur Hunter Under Saddle Circuit Champion. The pair also won or placed deep in their Horsemanship, Western Pleasure and Trail classes. Sarah showed Stanley in L1 Open Trail to place in the ribbons.
⭐️⭐️ Too Smart To Dual, owned and shown by Stephanie Anderson, tied for the Special Day L1 Select Ranch Trail Circuit award and won multiple AQHA points in their Amateur Select Ranch Horse disciplines. Wink was also shown by Sarah to place in Senior Ranch Trail.
⭐️⭐️ Code Blue Cowboy, owned and shown by Jessica Hawkins, once again showed his versatility by winning or placing in all of his classes from Performance Halter to Trail, Western Pleasure and Western Riding. Henry was also shown by Sarah to high placings and multiple AQHA points in L1 Open Trail.
⭐️ Snack Chip and Joy Cardelli were consistent Top 5 placers in their Select Amateur Trail classes. Sarah and Chip also placed Senior Trail classes.
⭐️ Have You Myst Me Yet, owned by Sue Wathen and shown by Sarah brought home ribbons in their L1 Open Trail classes.
⭐️ Mike Rodgers and Lope EmIf U Got Em showed in L1 Amateur and Select Amateur Trail and were Top 5 winners.
