The Brookside Bonanza Horse Show wrapped up Sunday, May 31st. Produced by Brookside Equestrian Park, Bill, Lorraine along with all of their wonderful staff, it is a always fun show. Be sure to watch for the show bill for the Fall Brookside Bonanza tentatively scheduled September 30-October 3 in Elk Grove, California.
10 horses and their riders represented SFQH and had great success while bringing home numerous blue ribbons in various disciplines..
⭐️ Our All-Around star was Code Blue Cowboy who garnered first places in Trail (ridden by Sarah) as well as Western Pleasure and Western Riding with his owner, Jessica Hawkins. This was Jessica’s first time entering Western Riding! Congratulations Jessica and Henry (who picked up 13.5 AQHA points in multiple events).
⭐️ Too Smart To Dual added 6 blue ribbons to his collection with wins in Ranch Trail and Western Rail ridden by his owner, Steph Anderson. Sarah also rode Wink to a win Senior Ranch Trail.
⭐️ Heyy Darlin and her owner, Kellie Meier, brought home blues in Ranch Trail and Ranch Riding.
⭐️ A Cherry On Top, owned by Patricia Avila, was a Western Riding blue ribbon winner with Sarah at the helm. Casey also had top five placings with Tricia in Trail.
⭐️ Popular Mechanics was ridden by Sarah to a blue in Trail. Selena along with her owner, Marisa Hash, also had some nice runs in their Trail classes.
⭐️ He Solved The Crime, was ridden by his owner Jennifer Chan to a blue in Horsemanship as well as placing in Western Pleasure. Stanley also placed well with Sarah in Trail.
⭐️ Lope Em If U Got Em and his owner, Mike Rodgers, added blues to their Western Riding collection. Mike and Mitchell also placed in their Trail classes. Sarah also rode him to placings in L1 Open Trail.
⭐️ Snack Chip and his owner, Joy Cardelli rode to Top 5 placings in their Trail classes. Sarah also rode Chip to place in Senior Trail.
⭐️ Sheza Little Lazy, owned and ridden by Staci Brown, were blue ribbon winners in Western Riding.
⭐️ Have You Myst Me Yet, owned by Sue Wathen, was ridden by Sarah to some nice runs in Trail.
