With the completion of our Sacramento Valley Boxer Club and East Bay Boxer Club show coverage I wanted to share a little "How dog shows work". It can be a little overwhelming at first, but I always describe it as a tier or pyramid. Classes > Best of Breed > Group > Best in Show. But this flow chart really put it all together great! Thank you Jack Bradshaw Dog Shows for publishing it.
When you are dealing with a Specialty show like ours, the show stops at Best of Breed. But in All Breed shows like the Sacramento Kennel Club the game progresses until there is one "Best".
