Kitten Tip Tuesday!

We often see far too many kittens being given away on social media. While the intentions are usually good, there are so many unknowns. Will they end up in a safe, loving home? Is separating them from their mother the right decision? Were they actually abandoned, or was mom cat simply away looking for food?

Before moving or giving away kittens, take a few minutes to learn more about what is truly best for them.

One great resource is Alley Cat Allies. They provide helpful information on determining a kitten's age, knowing when intervention is necessary, and understanding when kittens are safest left with their mother.

A few minutes of research can make a lifetime of difference for a kitten.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary. They donated a gracious amount of pet toys we are able to sell at the Humane Society Thrift Store to raise funds for future events.

Rez Vet is hosting a 3-day Sick & Injured Pet Clinic at Rock Springs Chapter House

📅 April 24th, 25th & 26th
⏰ 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
💲 $20 administrative fee per pet (includes all services!)

🚗 Drive-through clinic – NO appointment needed!

🐶 Dogs must be on a leash
🐱 Cats must be in carriers

This is an incredible chance to get your pets the care they need at a very low cost. Services like this make a huge difference.

Yesterday we held our 3rd Free Pet Food Distribution Event and were able to provide both dog and cat food to members of our community. This time we were even able to hand out full-size bags of dog food, which was a huge step forward for us! 🐶

We also want to thank everyone who came out and everyone who continues to support what we do.

The good news is… we are already planning the next event! 👀
