help me give a big congratulations to ellie for being our october spotlight rider! 🐴

ellie has her own horse and some BIG plans for the two of them next year, and i honestly could not be more excited to see what they accomplish together! there is something so special about watching a rider build a partnership with their own horse and getting to be a part of that journey. 🤎

one of the things i love most about what i do is getting to watch these kids chase their goals and be there to help them along the way. horses aren’t always easy and this sport definitely comes with its ups and downs, but that’s what makes the good moments even more special. every ride, every lesson, and every little accomplishment is another step toward those bigger dreams!

ellie, i am SO excited for everything you have planned for next year! i can’t wait to see you and your boy out there working toward those goals and making memories together. i am so thankful i get to be a part of this journey with you, and i hope you know that i will be cheering you on every step of the way! i can’t wait to see where you two go and all the things you accomplish together. next year is going to be so much fun, and i am beyond excited to see it all come together! 🤎🐎

barrels, ba****ck, and a little extra cardio today at willows way ranch! 😂

when your riding lesson turns into a little game of “if you don’t slide that hand down, we’re doing jumping jacks!” sometimes you just have to get creative to keep those riders learning and having fun!

we worked on barrels, practiced riding ba****ck, and snuck in a little workout along the way. never a dull moment around here! these kids keep me laughing and on my toes every single day. pretty sure i’m running a riding lesson and a fitness class all in one! 🤠

🚨willows way ranch lesson program needs! 🚨

most of our lesson saddles are starting to show their age after years of being used, loved, cleaned, hauled to shows, lessons, camps, etc. 😂❤️ so i’m wanting to slowly start refreshing some of the tack we use for our lesson program!

right now we are mainly looking for saddles, saddle pads, bridles, breast collars, and other tack that would be useful for our lesson horses and kiddos!

used is absolutely preferred! we do not need anything brand new or fancy. we’re looking for good, safe, usable tack that still has plenty of life left in it. if you have something sitting in your tack room that you aren’t using anymore, we would LOVE to give it a new home! 🥰

if anyone has tack they would like to donate, that would mean so much to us! ❤️ every donation, big or small, directly helps our lesson program and the kids who ride here.

we are also happy to purchase used tack at a reasonable price, so please don’t hesitate to send me pictures of anything you have sitting around!

if you have something you think we could use, comment below or message me pictures, sizes, brands, and prices. even if you aren’t sure if it’s something we need, send it my way!

we are a small local program that works hard to provide our riders with safe, quality equipment without having to spend a fortune replacing everything at once. so if you have a tack room that needs cleaned out… send it our way! 😂🐴

🌟 september spotlight rider 🌟

this month’s spotlight rider is our sweet blakely! she may be small but she is mighty and she has one of the biggest hearts for her favorite girl nova. 🤍

blakely has been with me for almost 2 years now and honestly it is hard to believe how quickly that time has gone. getting to watch her grow from where she started to the rider she is today has been such a special part of my journey as a trainer. she has grown so much in confidence and in her horsemanship and i am so incredibly proud of her.

last year blakely took nova to her very first show and these two went out there and came home with some ribbons! watching her accomplish that was such a proud moment and i know it was only the beginning of so many more memories for these two.

i am so thankful that blakely chose to ride with me and that i have gotten to be a small part of her journey. she brings so much joy to the barn and i genuinely cannot imagine willows way without her. watching her love nova and seeing the bond they have built together is something i will always cherish.

blakely you may be little but you have such a big personality such a big heart and so much determination. i am so happy to have you here with me and i cannot wait to watch you continue to grow learn and accomplish everything you put your mind to. you are so deserving of being our september spotlight rider! 🤍🐴

state show 2026 🤎

i honestly don’t even know where to start because this weekend meant so much to me. willows way ranch had such a special state show and i’m leaving feeling more grateful than anything.

i have to brag on ali for a minute because this girl deserves it. this was her very first state show and she handled herself with so much confidence and maturity. watching her and dahlia figure things out together and continue to get better each day made my heart so happy. they just kept clicking more and more and i couldn’t have asked for a better first state experience for her. seeing how proud she was of herself and watching her walk into that arena with confidence is something i won’t forget. she has worked so hard for this and she deserves every bit of recognition she gets. i am SO proud of you ali.

and to everyone who came out and supported us whether you were there in person cheering from the rail or sending messages or simply following along from home thank you. truly. having people believe in us and care about what we’re doing means more than i could ever put into words.

this weekend reminded me why i love what we do so much. it’s the little moments that mean the most. watching the kids grow and seeing their confidence build and making memories with these horses is something i will always cherish.

i’m so thankful for willows way ranch and for every person and horse who has been a part of it. this weekend gave me a lot to be proud of and even more to be thankful for. 🤎

until next state we’ll keep learning and growing and making memories.

🌟 august spotlight rider: adaline 🌟

some riders make progress in the saddle. others make the entire barn a happier place just by walking through the doors. adaline does both. 🤍

around the barn, though, she’s better known as “sneaky.” 😂 somehow she always manages to keep us laughing, and you never quite know what she’s going to say or do next.

if you’ve ever met sneaky, you know exactly what i’m talking about. her laugh is contagious, her excitement is endless, and she somehow finds a way to make every lesson just a little more fun. (although i do spend a good portion of our lessons saying, “sneaky… focus!” 😂)

she has a personality that’s impossible to miss, but what i love most is the heart behind it. she’s the first to celebrate someone else’s success, the first to encourage a friend who’s having a hard day, and the kind of rider who makes everyone around her feel included.

over the past year, i’ve watched her grow into such a confident young horsewoman. she’s learning that riding isn’t about being perfect. it’s about showing up, working hard, and becoming a little better every time you swing a leg over a horse. she does exactly that.

at camp, sneaky received our heart of the barn award, and i couldn’t think of anyone more deserving. the barn wouldn’t be the same without her laughter, her kindness, her silly moments, or the joy she brings to every horse and every person she meets.

whether she’s making everyone laugh, getting distracted by just about everything around her, or cheering someone else on, sneaky has a way of making every person feel welcome and every lesson more fun. that’s a gift not everyone has.

sneaky, never lose that big heart of yours. keep being exactly who you are. we are so proud of the rider and, even more, the incredible young lady you are becoming.

congratulations on being our august spotlight rider! we love having you as part of the willows way family. ❤️🐴✨

While Raylee and Piper were busy playing a game of musical stalls during their lesson, Tommy decided it was the perfect time to sneak in a cuddle with her boyfriend. 🥹🤍

She laid her sweet little head right on Stetson, and he stood there without moving an inch like the gentleman he is. These two are truly the cutest boyfriend and girlfriend🥹

The girls had so much fun, and Tommy and Stetson definitely stole the show with their little love story. I swear these horses have the biggest hearts. 🤍🐴
