🐾 Herman’s Comeback Story ❤️
Meet Herman, a sweet 14-year-old gentleman who has been through quite a journey — and we are so happy to share that he is fully recovered! 🎉
Herman first came to us on July 17th with a corneal ulcer and conjunctivitis in both eyes. He also had an abscessed tooth and several teeth that needed to be removed. As if that wasn’t enough, he developed painful sores on his tongue associated with the viral infection, causing him to stop eating, lose weight, and become extremely lethargic.
We treated his eyes with medications, but his eye infection wasn’t clearing as we had hoped. That’s when we began adding Nutramax supplements to his supportive care, including Imuquin® to support his immune system.
Herman’s journey didn’t stop there. He developed an a**l gland abscess, diarrhea, a significant limp in his front paw, and instability in his back legs. His mobility concerns were consistent with arthritis and joint pain.
We added Proviable® probiotics to help support his digestive health and maintain a balanced gut, along with Dasuquin® Advanced to support his joints, help manage inflammation associated with joint discomfort, and protect healthy cartilage.
