Management would like to report that operations at The Crafty Crab Cove continue despite ongoing interference from our newest employee, Marble.

This week he has inspected boxes, supervised production, attacked management’s ankles, and recently discovered that the couch is apparently part of his employee benefits package.
In actual Cove news, fall is creeping closer, new ideas are still bubbling around, and we're busy behind the scenes working on what comes next.

As always, Bubbles would like everyone to know that he remains the only member of this organization capable of maintaining any level of professionalism.

Marble disputes this statement.

Monday Morning Report
Good morning, Cove friends! Bubbles here, reporting from management after what can only be described as a weekend of questionable staffing decisions and kitten-related chaos.

First order of business: We apparently have a new intern named Marble.
His qualifications include: Attacking ankles
Rearranging his entire apartment
Attempting to bury food beneath a floor that cannot actually be dug
Chewing things that were never intended to be food
Sounding the emergency siren whenever management walks past
And sleeping peacefully only after everyone becomes concerned that he's too quiet.

Management reports that the intern spent approximately one hour roaming the facility this morning before being returned to his assigned workspace.

In a SHOCKING development, he then proceeded to play by himself.

There was jingling.

There was entertainment.

There was very little screaming.

We are calling this PROGRESS.

Meanwhile, the Human Resources Department is currently running on iced coffee, exhaustion, and sheer determination. Today's agenda includes laundry, cleaning, 3D printing, and convincing one small fuzzy employee that human ankles are NOT company-approved chew toys.

Bubbles would also like it officially documented that supervising a kitten IS WORK, regardless of whether the supervisor happens to be sitting down.

Bubbles has some new Halloween friends!

Looks like Bubbles is getting his spooky crew together a little early! Meet his newest friends...a skull-shell crab and a sparkly little skeleton crab.

And because I believe in giving credit where it belongs: the skeleton crab shown here is a 3D model available on MakerWorld and is not my original model. Mine just got a little The Crafty Crab Cove makeover with UV resin, glitter & crushed glass.

Before pics and the pic of the friends shows him decorated lol. I loved this skeleton crab as soon as I saw him...but I had to give him some sparkle lol

Monday Morning Management Report

Good morning.

It has come to my attention that management...you know, the human who claims to run The Crafty Crab Cove...has spent an unacceptable amount of Monday morning sitting on the couch, looking at her phone and talking.

Meanwhile, I have been at my post.

Watching.

Waiting.

Judging.

I have stared at her repeatedly in an effort to communicate that Monday is a WORKDAY. Apparently my leadership style is being ignored.

There are Welcome Home Boxes to finish.
There are hermit crab goodies to make.
There are things to print.
There are posts to post.

And yet... the human remains on the couch.

I cannot be expected to carry this entire small business on my tiny shoulders.

I have therefore issued a formal Monday morning warning and will continue staring at her until productivity improves.

Please keep me in your thoughts during this difficult managerial period.

MEET BUBBLES — OUR NEW DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS!

The Crafty Crab Cove would like to officially introduce the newest member of our team… Bubbles!

Bubbles arrived yesterday and immediately appointed himself Director of Operations, Head of Quality Control, Household Cleaning Supervisor, and General Coffee Table Manager.

His qualifications include:

👀 Staring judgmentally while I work
* Supervising all cleaning while doing absolutely none of it
* Watching groceries be carried in without lifting a claw
*Overseeing dishes from a safe distance
* Approving employee rest breaks — although he claims those were his idea
* Supervising our upcoming hermit crab treat experiments while refusing to taste-test because he's “watching his figure”
* And contributing absolutely ZERO physical labor while somehow taking credit for increased productivity.

Despite his questionable work ethic, we've decided to keep him.

Please help us welcome Bubbles to The Crafty Crab Cove!

And tell us what other job title do you think Bubbles needs? Because apparently Director of Operations isn't enough for him. 😂
